RE: Some thoughts on the next adaptation of “Superman” (James Gunn’s version).

Well, personally I'm not a big fan of the Superman movies, but we can say that I had the nerve to see Zack Snyder's version as "the best of all" (yes, I know). But hey, this new Superman movie really catches my attention, not only because it's being directed by the great James Gunn, but because it looks very different from "Man of Steel."

According to what many have said on the internet after seeing the poster and now the teaser, it is evident that this Superman story will not be like the previous ones where we will see his beginning and history from scratch, No, but rather it seems that the director will make the plot turn more in the direction of what is coming, to the present superhero and "savior", in addition to many other characters that seem like they will leave incorporating into the story and expanding this new universe.

We'll see what it will be like when it comes out, if it will be worth spending so much on this film. With all the speculation that it's going to be expensive and everything that's seen in the trailer, it's going to be a long movie, that's for sure. As long as it's as faithful as possible to the Comics as its inspiration and/or primary source, it's all good, I guess.

James Gunn seems to have chosen a completely unexpected path for his "reinterpretation" of Superman. I hope, for the sake of DC's future, that the film is good (and relevant to cinema).
