Hello friends, welcome to my blog, a few days ago I saw this movie “The Lost City”, because I am a big fan of Sandra Bullock and I love her performances, she is very versatile and can jump from drama to comedy. Directed by Aaron and Adam Nee and written by Dana Fox and Oren Uziel, this film is a comedy that combines romance, adventure and treasure hunting. Channing Tatum also acts alongside Sandra, who will be her adventure partner, Daniel Radcliffe, the villain of the story and the special appearance of Brad Pitt, who despite having a short appearance dazzles us with her, as a specialist in bailing out.
Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, hace pocos días vi esta película “La Ciudad Perdida”, porque soy una gran fan de Sandra Bullock y me encantan sus actuaciones, ella es muy versátil y puede saltar del drama a la comedia. Esta cinta es dirigida por Aaron y Adam Nee y escrita por Dana Fox y Oren Uziel, es una comedia que combina el romance, la aventura y la búsqueda de un tesoro. Junto a Sandra también actúan Channing Tatum, quien será su compañero de aventuras, Daniel Radcliffe, el villano de la historia y la aparición especial de Brad Pitt, quien a pesar de tener una corta aparición nos deslumbra con ella, como un especialista en rescate.
The film is about a writer of famous romantic novels named Loretta Sage, who is on tour to publicize her latest novel and whose model, who personifies her protagonist in the novel Alan (Tatum), has all her readers in love. During one of her presentations she is kidnapped by a billionaire (Daniel), who upon reading the book realizes that it bears similarity to a legendary place of treasures that has been searched for centuries and thinks that she can discover the key to its location. . Being kidnapped Alan decides that he must rescue her from her and together with the agent of her books, they seek to hire a rescue specialist to help them in the mission. Here begins a series of situations that will lead Alan along with Brad Pitt, to locate her to save her.
La película trata de una escritora de famosas novelas románticas de nombre Loretta Sage, quien esta de gira para publicitar su ultima novela y cuyo modelo, que personifica a su protagonista en la novela Alan (Tatum), tiene enamoradas a todas sus lectoras. Durante una de sus presentaciones es secuestrada por un multimillonario (Daniel), quien al leer el libro se da cuenta que tiene similitud con un legendario lugar de tesoros que ha sido buscado por siglos y piensa que ella puede descubrir la clave para su localización. Al ser secuestrada Alan decide que debe rescatarla y junto a la agente de sus libros, buscan contratar a un especialista de rescate para que los ayude en la misión. Acá comienza unas series de situaciones que llevará a Alan junto a Brad Pitt, a localizarla para salvarla.
The film is full of funny moments and interesting action scenes that keep you attentive to the screen. The romance will be born between Loretta and Alan, but in a subtle way at first. I think the chemistry between Sandra and Tatum is extraordinary, you can see that on stage. Which makes the characters of both believable. Other performances that despite the short duration he had on the tape is that of Brad, making fun of the stereotypes of adventure heroes. Each of his scenes, especially the action scenes, were fantastic and I wish his role had more time on the tape. In my opinion, the character that is not up to par is that of the villain, Daniel feels overreacted in his scenes, he does not have a clear reason to commit his misdeeds.
La película esta plagada de momentos cómicos y con escenas de acción interesantes que te mantienen atento a la pantalla. El romance nacerá entre Loretta y Alan, pero de una forma sutil al principio. Creo que la química entre Sandra y Tatum es extraordinaria, eso se ve en escena. Lo que hace que los personajes de ambos sean creíbles. Otras de las actuaciones que a pesar de la corta duración que tuvo en la cinta es la de Brad, burlándose de los estereotipos de héroes de aventuras. Cada una de sus escenas sobre todo las de acción fueron fantásticas y me hubiese gustado que su papel tuviera más tiempo en la cinta. En mi opinión el personaje que no está a la altura es el de el villano, Daniel se siente sobreactuado en sus escenas, no tiene un motivo claro para cometer sus fechorías.
The Lost City is a movie that manages to entertain with its comedic scenes, solid performances (with a few exceptions), and action scenes that keep you on your toes. Love the chemistry that Sandra and Tatum have. If I have to say something negative, it is that it does not present an original story, it does not contribute anything new in this type of adventure movies, treasure hunts and romance, seeing it you know where the shots come from. Despite this, it is worth seeing because you will have a pleasant time watching it and laughing at those moments that Sandra and Tatum's performances show us.
La Ciudad Perdida, es una película que logra entretener con sus escenas cómicas, actuaciones solidas (con alguna excepción), y escenas de acción que te mantienen atentos. Adore la química que tienen Sandra y Tatum. Si tengo que decir algo negativo es que no presenta una historia original, no aporta nada nueve en este tipo de películas de aventura, búsquedas de tesoros y romance, ya viéndola sabes por donde vienen los tiros. A pesar de ello vale la pena ver porque pasaras un rato agradable viéndola y riéndote de esos momentos que las actuaciones de Sandra y Tatum nos muestran.
If you want to entertain yourself for two hours and laugh, this is your movie, which leaves no message, lesson or learning. It is a film with the pure desire to entertain and have fun for two hours, under that premise you must see it. Obviously, this makes it a forgettable movie and one that you probably won't repeat, as these types of films usually are, but one that we don't hesitate to watch when we just want to relax for a while. So if you want to laugh for a while do not hesitate to see it.
Si quieres entretenerte por dos horas y reírte está es tú película, que no deja ningún mensaje, lección o aprendizaje. Es una cinta con el puro deseo de entretener y divertirte durante dos horas, bajo esa premisa debes verla. Obviamente esto la hace una película olvidable y que muy probablemente no repitas como por lo general son este tipo de cintas, pero que no dudamos en ver cuando solo buscamos relajarnos un rato. Así que si quieres reírte un rato no dudes en verla.
