Acá comienzan una serie de hechos que harán que Elvis (Mel), se dé cuenta de que su vida y la de todos los que los rodean están en peligro.
I loved this film, seeing a Mel Gibson, vulnerable without those quasi-superhero qualities, who knows how to fight and handle weapons. Here we see him as an ordinary middle-aged man facing a risky situation with no power other than trying to convince his enemy. The film is a bit slow at first, but as time goes by it grows in excitement and suspense. Not knowing what you are facing and having to rely on your instincts to survive is one of the things that make this film interesting, you can feel the fear in some scenes and guessing the possible culprits is what keeps you on your toes.
Me encantó de esta cinta, ver a un Mel Gibson, vulnerable sin esas cualidades de casi superhéroe, que sabe pelear y manejar armas. Acá lo vemos como un hombre común de mediana edad que se enfrenta a una situación riesgosa sin más poder que el de tratar de convencer a su enemigo. La película al principio es algo lenta, pero a medida que va pasando el tiempo está va creciendo en emoción y suspenso. No saber a qué te enfrentas y tener que valerte de tus instintos para sobrevivir es una de las cosas que hacen de esta cinta interesante, se puede sentir el miedo en algunas escenas y el estar adivinando los posibles culpables es lo que hace que esta película te mantenga atenta.

Two sides of the same coin, that ambiguity in Elvis' character is what makes this character interesting and compelling.

However, the film is entertaining, it has good moments, you feel that suspense and the desire to guess who is behind everything that happens and the best is the ending, how unexpected it is and something you do not expect and imagine after watching the whole film. So if you are looking for something to watch this weekend I recommend you see it and tell me what you thought.
Finalmente, lo negativo: es que es algo lenta al principio, por momentos no mantiene el suficiente interés para generar ese suspenso que se necesita en un thriller con pocos personajes y exteriores. No es coherente en algunas partes para ser creíble que algo así ocurra. No obstante, la cinta es entretenida, tiene momentos buenos, se siente ese suspenso y las ganas de adivinar quién está detrás de todo lo que pasa y lo mejor es el final, lo inesperado que es y algo que no te esperas e imaginas luego de ver toda la cinta. Así que si buscas algo ver este fin de semana te recomiendo la veas y me cuentes que te pareció.
