Kraven The Hunter: Predator or Prey?

in CineTVyesterday
I’ve always been a big lover of action movies since I was a child. This was mainly because I hated all those Nigerian witchcraft movies my sister liked to watch those days so I’d gang up with my brother and overthrow her.😅

Recently, I haven’t seen much of action movies as I’ve been seeing new stuff and expanding my movie collection. But I happened to stumble on this movie and decided to give it a try.

THE PLOT

The whole movie started with two boys Kraven and Dimitri losing their mom and for her funeral, their father sends them far away to Africa on a hunting spree. My first question was, who does that?

Turns out, their dad was a ruthless man who run a gang and had to make sure no one crosses his path. This man had power and influence and his goal was to train his children to be just like him, especially his first son, Kraven.

On their hunting spree , they were looking to kill a lion which no one had ever been able to kill. But the unfortunate happened, out of nowhere, Kraven got attacked by the same lion they were out hunting. Magically, Kraven is able to survive with the help of an innocent girl who was also touring with her parents.

Little did he know that the potion that saved his life came with great power and responsibility. Will Kraven be able to use these powers wisely or not? You’d have to find out.

MY THOUGHTS AND REVIEW

No cap, this show is a solid 10/10. Why because first of all, the plot was good and the characters did exceptionally well in playing their roles. You couldn’t just guess what was to happen next as the directors made sure to keep you on your toes. That’s the kind of challenge I love.

If there’s one thing I learnt from this movie, it’s the importance of family and also learning when to let go. Kraven loved his family so much and always made sure to be there for his brother. But he knew to also prioritize himself and his sanity above all.

How he managed to strike a balance between both worlds of his is still a mystery to me but he did just good at it. This movie is totally worth the watch. I hope you enjoy it!
