In the current state of Marvel, there is another movie release called "Captain America: Brave New World". So can this movie fix this bad state of Marvel?
Story & Continuity
It is the fourth movie in the Captain America flim series. And this movie is the continuation of "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" mini series. Therefore, it is important to watch all the previous Captain America movies and especially the mini series. Because of how Sam Wilson became the captain? How has Joaquin Torres been Falcon? Who is Thunderbolt Ross? Who is Isaiah Bradley? You will get the answer to all this in the mini series. Even, the Incredible Hulk movie that came out, is also referenced here. And if you're not a Marvel fan and haven't seen those series, then you won't understand much.
Villain & Action
A new villain is introduced in this movie. That's what this entire movie was made for, it seems. And his role is also very less like a cameo.
Pacing & Execution
I think the movie is very slow. Even, the movie is less than 2 hours long. And comparing it with the previous film of captain, it disappointed me. At the first hub you will feel that something needs to be fasted. On the other hand, this is the second last movie of phase 5.
Final Verdict
Overall, it's not a bad movie but it's not a movie showing superheroic power. It about Human Heroism. Whereas, there is no need for superpowers. But our protest remains a hope that we want to see our superpowers in a Marvel movie. That's where this movie falls short. Also, like other Marvel movies it also has an end credits scene. Which gives us a hint of the upcoming movie.
After looking at everything in general, I would rate it 6 out of 10.
