Gemini Man is a movie that was scheduled to be shot since 1997, shooting was postponed several times for various reasons, a number of important actors were nominated for the role, and 20 years later the movie was finally shot.
The film tells the story of a retired assassin who finds himself being chased by a mysterious assassin who can predict his every move, but discovers that his stalker is younger versions of him, and this killer needs to know why he was targeted and who created that version of himself.

The events of the film begin with professional killer Henry Brogan, who works for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), hiding in a field to wait for his target, a running train with suspected terrorist Valerie Dormov on board. He was frantically observing that there was a girl standing in front of Domov.
Henry tries to wait for the girl to get away, but he misses Dormov's head, but the bullet hits his neck and he dies.
Henry is frustrated and decides to retire from the service. Dale Patterson, Henry's therapist, goes to visit him. Henry expresses his regret for all the lives he killed during his years of service, and how only one step could have ended the life of that little girl.
Henry goes to rent a boat, meets his friend Jack Willis, who tells him that Dormoff was not a terrorist as they told him, but was actually a molecular biologist who had worked in the United States for 30 years, and that there was another reason to kill him.
And when Henry asks him about the source of his information, he tells him that he knows an informant from Budapest called Yuri Kovacs, and he was the one who leaked that information to him.
Meanwhile, Henry is eavesdropped on and overhears Defense Intelligence Agency Director Janet Lasseter, along with Clay Farris, director of a security program called "Jimney", instructing Clay Lasseter to find a way to take care of Henry.
Henry returns to the store and suspects Danny the store manager is working with DIA, but she denies it, and Henry feels like an idiot so he invites her to dinner. In the FBI, Henry also mentions his retirement and why he chose to leave this life behind.
That night, a team sneaks into Jack's boat and kills him and his girlfriend and throws their bodies into the water. After a while, Henry wakes up in his house, and feels that the men are breaking into the house. He calls his friend Marino, who was watching with him, but he hears on the phone that Marino is being killed, and Henry escapes.
He goes to Danny's house to warn her, and thinks she might be the next target because she knows what's going on, and indeed once Henry leaves her she is attacked, but she outruns her attacker, Henry assures Danny that Lasseter sent them.
Henry and Danny escape in a boat in a mysterious location until Henry's friend, Barron, finds them. Henry continues to treat Dale to find out what's going on, and Dale tells him about the Jimny team hired by DIA to get rid of its clients.
It turns out that Dormoff was working for Jimny, and Henry asks Danny what she knows about Jimny, and she tells him that it is a paramilitary organization run by Clay, who originally wanted Henry and Barron to join him because they knew him since he was a Marine, but they both refused to join that specialized organization In eliminating specific targets with maximum discretion.
The three go to Cartagena, Colombia, and at the hotel Henry sees a shooter running across the rooftops next door and chases after him, and tries to shoot him, but soon discovers that he looks exactly like him called Junior and has exactly the same skills as Henry and this makes it difficult for Henry to target him.
After a chase, Junior escapes, and Henry, Danny, and Baron head to Budapest to meet Yuri, and Junior goes to his safe house to treat his wounds and meets Clay, who treats him like his own son, and Junior expresses his surprise that Henry managed to evade his attacks.
Meanwhile, Danny gets Junior's DNA from his hat and sends it for analysis, revealing that Junior is just a clone of Henry.
The trio arrive in Budapest and meet Bory, a detective who tells Henry that he's also against Clay. He reveals that Dormoff worked with Jimny on the cloning project, and that he helped design clones that could be stronger and smarter than the originals, but Clay wanted soldiers with no conscience and no pain, When Dormov decided to abandon the project, he was killed.
Henry sends Lasseter a message telling him that he knows everything about him, and threatens that if he sends someone to kill him again, he will kill him first, Lasseter tries to negotiate and sends Junior to tell him that he can send Danny to the United States safely, Junior holds Danny until he makes Henry turn himself in When Danny talks to Junior and asks him why he's chasing Henry, he tells her because Henry killed the other Jimny's team members.
Henry manages to free Danny, then tells Junior that he does not want to kill him but will do so if necessary, and also tells him who Clay really is, as well as who Junior is, expressing how empty they feel, but Junior does not believe that he is a copy of Henry, and even tries to kill him Danny intervenes and Junior runs away.

Junior returns to Jimny and asks Clay about Henry, but he denies the truth and assures him that he is his son, but after Junior returns home, he finds the trio waiting for him from Clay.
Indeed, they are able to pursue Clay, but Barron dies in the pursuit, and Henry discovers that there is another copy of him, and he is able to arrest Clay, who tells him that the goal of this project was to reduce human casualties in the war through the use of a skilled person like Henry.
She prevents Henry Jr from killing Clay and then shoots him in the chest, Jimny's project is stopped, and Junior goes to university using a new name, "Jackson Brogan", which is Henry's mother's maiden name.
