Pirates of The Caribbeans: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

I finally finished the last movie of the pirates of the Caribbean Series and I just have to say that ot was incredibly wholesome!!
The adventures of Jack Sparrow is something that I had always heard about how good this series was and I had confirmed it after watching the first film years ago, but the full four movies watched successively is a whole other type of experience on it's own.

I started this cinema quest two weeks ago, taking my time to watch every movie and truly understand what's happening. I wrote a review on the first and now to close it, I'd write a review about the [last].

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Plot

Harry Turner wants to break his father Will Turner from the curse of the Flying Dutchman, and for that he'd need to find King Neptune's Trident. A treasure no man has seen hidden behind a map no man can read.
An impossible quest, yet there's one pirate who's famous for conquering the impossible and Harry manages to enlist his help.
Yet with Jack down on his luck and death close on his tails, this mission seems more perilous and impossible by the minute.

The pirates of the Caribbean series is indeed a wholesome and breathtaking series, yet as with all series, there's always that one movie and/or one episode that didn't reach the rest.

This was that movie.

Now I'm not saying that the movie is bad. No it wasn't, it just wasn't as interesting and gripping as the previous ones.

The costumes and CGI was incredible for that year. The cast wonderful, writing was good too.

The major problem was that the pace was way too fast.
It seems as though the director was filming like the camera was a rental or something.

The fast pace made the climax weak as compared to others. The action and fighting scenes were minimal and there wasn't much emotion for me to give as every scene is passing by quickly .

All the other aspects of the movie were wonderful actually. The cast, plot, lore, word building was terrific.

Just the pacing that really irked me out from the movie.
I'd give it a rating of 7 out of 10 and I hope that the next movie in the series gets approval and gets started on quickly .
Despite that, like I said before the series itself is a vibe so you must definitely watch it.

This is where I resist peer pressure because I've heard so many nice things about Pirates of the Caribbean as a brand, but I've never gotten around to watching it. Review looks lovely, though. Thanks for sharing.🌺

You should definitely watch it

Ha,this just made me remember when you told me you downloaded the wrong pirates!😂
Lovely review,I haven't seen the movie yet so I have no idea how to rate it;)

Omoooor...

I still have PTSD 😭😭😭

Rating the film 7 out of 10 sounds like you enjoyed it but have a bit of an uhmmm or something, lol! Thanks for your review although I can't recall if I watched this or not. I'll have to check 😅

Indeed... It takes a special kind of hater to not enjoy a film from the Pirates of the Caribbean series 😂😂😂

It's just that this one seems a bit too fast... At least in my personal opinion ✨🤷‍♀️😔

Jack's antics make it even more enjoyable😁 I didn't watch this so I'll give it a go hopefully this weekend

I trust your judgement, but this was a series I just couldn't bring myself to watch. I don't know--I think it's Depp's costume. It looks so ungainly, so unattractive. Then, his real-life personality, his seeming arrogance and self importance kind of blended with his movie persona for me (I watched the Amber Herd trial and they both came off looking pretty bad). I couldn't bring myself to spend an hour or more with that man.

Even after your review, I don't think I'll change my mind. Although, your review of anime the other day had me wondering if I shouldn't give that genre a try. It's certainly a cultural phenomenon. So, you are persuasive, just not powerful enough to sell Depp :))

😂😂

I try not to be influenced by an artist/performers real life vices when I'm watching or enjoying his art.
It makes life a little bit easier 😂
