I agree. This felt like three different movies were spliced together and they weren't exactly sure which genre they wanted to settle on -- thriller, horror, comedy. They definitely succeeded with the gross-factor but it looked like the first part of the movie would've contained a better story if they opted for a simpler, less bizarre twist.

Yes, if they had continued the story as it started, it would have been a much better movie and my opinion would have changed, but still, maybe someone will like the movie.
It's rated pretty highly on big platforms and it wasn't exactly a garbage movie, obviously some good money went into it, but it felt like a rushed product.
