I cannot watch Bojack. That isn't because the show is terrible, rather it's so good at depicting mental issues that it triggered my own. In particular Bojacks loneliness while portraying a façade always got to me. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The question is, is that a good thing in a comedy? Don't get me wrong, one of my favorite comedies of all time is Scrubs, and the show does have serious and heartbreaking moments. However, I would never say that those are the reason the show is special.
It seems like the main reason this show gets complimented is mainly non-comedy related. Seems like a trap in a way.
