I am back in this community with another movie review. Today i am going to give a review of a movie which is Rough book. This movie i have watched yesterday and today i am going to share the review with you all. So let's get started.
Summary of the movie
Rough Book is an Indian movie. The language that is used there is hindhi. This movie is about a physics teacher(miss Santoshi) and the education system in india. Santoshi have a different style of teaching, she believes that just getting 100 marks in life is not just enough at all, in real we should learn something beyond the marks.
And in her point of view it's easy to teach things to the weak students. Also because of her different concepts regarding education and education system, she is disliked by college managements and liked by many of the students. Her famous quote which i like the most is that a good teacher make a weak student a good student, and make a good student a superior one.
So the movie starts with showing that the santoshi in her hall, she is doing some experiment with the heavy metal ball, and she leaves it freely and it doesn't touch her at all. In all this situation her husband came and asked her to be careful otherwise the Ball will hit her but she explained him all the physics behind it. Then his husband asked for the dinner and she said to him that because i was busy doing this so i didn't cook also.
Santoshi's husband was a assistant commissioner of income tax. And he miss managed in his job, and he involves in some wrong money transferring and also he kept money with himslef also. When the other officers came to his house and checked for the money they got the money behind santoshi's book. She was highly disappointed because of that, because she was an honest person.
In result of all that she decided to get divorce from him, and staying separately from each other.
Soon after that she left that college job also, because she thought she won't be able to face her college students also. Also she left that village also and shifted to their friends house. And there she applied for a teacher's job in a college. And the principle interviewed him and gave him a class of 12D which means the class of weakest students. Below 40 percent. She doesn't mind that at all, because she loves teaching she doesn't care to whom she does teach.
When she went to the class she tries to get the attention of the pupil but they were busy in chatting watching phones and all these things. Santoshi shouted and said good morning and then students also followed the same. When she was giving her introduction one boy showed his phone, and said we already know about you, you are the wife of Assistant commissioner of tax, we heard about all the news also. At that time she was almost broken but she tackle the situation very nicley.
As she was the new teacher the students of the college broke her car glasses also in result she pasted a nice newspapers on it, in which beautiful quotes were written.
The way she was teaching to them was really amazing. She enhanced others to do the presentation in result of that they started to open their caged minds and started to work on their certain topics. She started to teach them the syllabus of grade 1p and 11 because their basic concepts were also not clear. Her teaching was different from others teachers so she was the only teacher liked by the students of 12D.

Due to some favour of time she was asking from the principle for the test for her class she was suspended. And they hired a new professor. nobody from the class liked him.
All the students used to bunk their class and go for Santosh's house and she used to teach everything in every simple way ever. Her friends also supported her to teach students some other subjects. When Principle got to know about this he seems to be angry because the students left his extra classes and went to join her.
Their parents also supported them as the Santoshi teacher is the good teachers but the principal didn't listen to them and he said that we are not responsible for their board exam marks at all.
And their exams started they all worked really hard.
In result they improved very much from below they came to average and all the credit goes to Santoshi mam. But the principle was not happy as usual he thought at once they will get 100 percent marks, he even didn't bother to say to his children that at least they have improved so much.
When media got to know that those students have improved that much they went to interviewed the principle he have taken the credits for his extra classes in college. But when the media got to know about santoshi mam they went to her and asked questions from her. And she said that those students were not only bookworms so everybody needs to understand that a degree is not equal to an education.
When all the students went to tell her about their marks she was so happy about them. And students told her that they were not enough to understand that there is a difference between learning and studying. And everybody was so happy at last.
Movie review
I will rate this movie 9.5/10. Because it helps me to clear my mind about the today's education and how should we handle it. This educational movie is really good and all the education management persons should watch it including the students. It will help them alot.
