Just finished the second batch of the eleventh season of The Walking Dead that just appeared on Netflix.
It's been a while since I am telling myself I should stop wasting my life on the show but I keep returning when new eps come out. I guess after all these years, I am curious to see how it will end.
The show has been on a death spiral for a long time now. Unlike the first couple seasons, it just feels so repetitive. And the biggest problem is how most of the original characters that were actually interesting are long gone. Like the China man. Or that red haired idiot. For fucks shake, even Rick Grimes is missing for two years now. Yes, I know he will make a comeback but still... Same with Michone. She was interesting but she disappeared as well. I just feel so detached with what is going on. At least we still have Daryl.
Anyways, the episodes I just binge watched were utter shit. Same repetitive crap, bad writing, idiotic subplots and lots of cringe. I won't give any spoilers but there was lots and lots of it. And of course lots of boring walking 😅
Thank God the show is over. Dunno when the last few episodes will appear on Netflix. But I am relieved there won't be any after that. And no, I am not touching any of the spin offs.

I rage quit that shitty show when I saw that massive beast of a tiger bewilderingly get taken down by about 5 skinny ass rotting human zombies whose teeth could likely barely even get through human tissue, let alone a tiger's massive fur coat, 2-inch thick skin and claws the size of the zombie's heads. And that's after the fact the tiger, for whatever reason, couldn't just casually walk away.
I'm all for suspension of disbelief but this just reeked of a desperate plot point from a team of writers who hadn't had a new idea in years. Fuck that show

I gave up after around 3 seasons. Daryl's brother.. that mad bastard who got killed very early was great!
Yeah, most of the epic characters are long dead. We are mostly left with the meh ones. Except Negan, who now is a pussy with no balls.

First few seasons were Gold! Then it goes garbage fast. The original show runner was out and the actors who protested him getting canned were killed off. Big it’s worth watching first seasons. When it goes bad just bail though.
I see most Great seasons become trash cuz of renewing it and dragging the whole story... Will Give it a watch as long as seasons are Gold for now I just started watching Ragnarok and it is quite Amazing.
I think the first 2 and 3 seasons were the best. Although the writers have mastered the art of keeping people glued and coming back for more despite the show being repetitive in its closing stages.

I think that being as you say I would have stopped watching it a long time ago, good thing I never got interested in this series, it seems strange because I think I am the only one in the world who has never seen it but I never felt tempted to watch it, I think I am more attached to watch the series El Chavo del 8, that despite watching repeated chapters I never get tired of laughing hahahahaha.

I quit on the 9th season, I always planned to get back to it, but it is so low on my list of things I care about I just can't justify the time.
I highly recommend Last of Us. It's yet another zombie show, but it is 90% story, 1% zombie, and 9% Padro Pascel!

I played the game and it was one of my favorites. The show is very true to the game which is one of the best stories in gaming.
