Castlevania Season 4
Gamers all over the world rejoiced when Castlevania was made into a tv series. The title Castlevania is legendary to all true gamers and resonates until today. The classic good versus evil storyline has evolved into a more complex storyline. Today I bring you the 4th and last season of the series from Netflix.
If you have not seen the first three seasons it would be a good idea to start now. It would be difficult to follow the story by jumping to season 4 right away. The series continues the story of Trevor Belmont from the legendary vampire hunter Belmont clan, Sypha Belnades a witch that harnesses the power of the elements and Alucard the half-vampire son of Dracula.
Season 4 still possesses the frightful and violent nature of the series. It is an adult animation that is not meant for kids. The season contains 10 episodes and continues to story of the vampire's plan for conquest.
The animation is beautiful and I think has improved more in this season. The voice acting and script are amazing. You could feel the personality of each character in every dialogue and expect a lot of cursing.
Season 4 has no shortage of monsters that could creep on you at every turn. There are recognizable monsters from the game that has been introduced. There is one small jumping creature that I recognize from the game series which I think is called flea man. A very annoying villain in the game. To gamers who have already seen season 4 please comment on the monsters that you recognize.
Bigger threats are unveiled in this season and the story of the Vampire Council of Sisters is slowly coming to an end. I was almost in tears in some parts but held back. There is only one word I could say to avoid spoilers and that word in "Poetic".
There are a lot of action and fight scenes in this season. A lot of epic battles that will be unforgettable. There is just one disappointment for me, they did not use songs from the game in this final season. Although Bloody Tears was used in season two and it brought chills to my spine when I heard the music. I wished they incorporated more songs from the game.
The season will showcase a surprising villain from the game. It will make you feel that you are in the final boss battle of the series. After watching the final episode I felt sad and I was craving for more like a blood-thirsty vampire. It seems that I waited for a year and I just watched it in one sitting.
Although this story has come to an end it is rumored that they are planning a new series based on the Castlevania world and will have a new character list. The world and story of Castlevania are vast and I am hoping we will be seeing more in the future. For me, Castlevania is the best video game adaptation ever made and maybe a new game will come out because of the popularity
