All American - Have You Watched Season 7?

Hello friends and movie lovers of the cine tv community. It’s a pleasure to be sharing a movie with you all once again. Today, I want to talk about a series I’ve been watching for a few years now. I can’t remember vividly if I started the series as it was first aired on tv or if a few seasons was already aired before I started watching. Well, that doesn’t matter right now.

All American series is based on a true life story of Spencer James who was an athlete and a ball player. The movie follows the life of Spencer James who lived and schooled in
South Crenshaw in the early episodes. After a few episodes Spencer is recruited by a football coach in Beverly Hills who happens to be his mother’s friend.

Spencer resists at first but is convinced by his mother and best friend to move to Beverly Hills for a chance at a better life. On his first day at his new school in Beverly Hills, he meets Olivia Baker who happens to be the coach’s daughter. They chat and bond over chromosomal DNAs.

Spence and Liv grow close but he chooses Liv’s best friend, Layla after the football team tries to make his life miserable with the help of Layla. The whole series resolves around the life of Spencer and his battles through high school.

Spencer is focused on making his football career successful one while juggling his love life. He also has to deal with a secret he discovers while living in his coach’s Billy Baker’s house. The football team goes through some challenges while Spencer is in Beverly High but he, the coach’s son Jordan Baker and the coach come up with ways to handle it.

Spencer’s best friend, Coop has her own challenges in Crenshaw and ends up dragging Spencer into her mess. In the later seasons, Spencer gets shot after he accompanies Liv to an event which later causes him to break things off with Coop.

During that time, the friend group made of Spencer, Liv, Layla, Patience, Coop, Jordan and Simone make a trip out to Las Vegas for Coop’s tour and during that trip some things happen which we later see.

During that time, Spencer finally has the strength to do read letters from his dad and Layla realizes something important. Spence, Liv, Jordan and Simone make a trip out to a university which Simone ends up attending.

By the 5th and 6th seasons, there are a lot of relationship changes in the friends group and they see themselves in college. Spencer and the rest of the team including JJ all have their fair of challenges in College which I won’t talk much about because that would be giving away major spoilers.

All American is currently in its 7th season which for a lot of fans I saw online wanted the series to end in season 6. For me I think it should have ended in season 6 too because the 6th season ended in a good way for me. Almost perfect even. I haven’t watched any episode of the 7th season yet so I wouldn’t be able to give opinions on it. The reason most fans wanted it to end in the 6th season was because a lot of the regulars from season 1 to season 6 are leaving or have left the show including Daniel Ezra who plays James and Samantha Logan who plays Olivia Baker.

For the 1st to 6th seasons, I would give the series a 9/10 rating because to be honest I really liked it.
