Hmm.. Words reflect the feelings sometimes and I just want to praise your sense of analogy here on the case of bus and the wheels to human & emotions. Thats pretty normal, yet the critical thing is to have the CPU (the mind) to process what sort of command would the wheels get - whether to maintain balance and speed or, accelerate at times needed.
Young age is very off the rhythm by nature and the human life points to the use of it respect to the circumstances. The man there didnt have the sense to sense the condition of his life and duties to do towards family. Which is why he prioritised a fake relationship.
