For many bus drivers, Yellow as a color I think does not exist.
The hell with yellow or whatever colour you out on the roads to divide lanes, it doesn't matter to any of the drivers, regardless of the vehicle they drive. And there is a good reason for what many 'willing' drivers can't maintain the coloured divisions, for example, bicycles, three-wheelers occupy the left-most side of the roads where they shouldn't be and it makes it difficult for heavy vehicles at a considerable speed steering left and right overtake those slow transports and be in their designated lane. Again, most highways are either walled by shrubs or public properties and there is a good chance you will see animals or even babies popping out of nowhere in the middle of the road. Hidden by the infrastructures beside the road, you cannot risk driving through the left-most sides of the road. Although it's my personal observation and may not fit in all the roads, still, if you drive through the middle or from a distance from the edges, you have better chances to prevent an accident caused by sudden peek-a-boo.
I know you have tons of complaints about the road condition, like most of us do, the first step to being safe should come from you and me; from every individual. Wear safety gear, ride slowly, and don't drive unfit vehicles- that's what I'd say when you are on it. And of course, thank Allah every time you reach your destination safe.
As always you say wise words good sir.
This is how I've been surviving for so long TBH. stay in the middle and avoid any and all surprises. Its not a time efficient strategy but better than getting to ride another day than not getting to ride at all.
and even wiser words. In these godless times, the only protection we have perhaps. All i do while riding is recite stuff. as cheat codes. if the moment is my last, straight to heaven:P
We, riders mostly share common interests and have similar points of view about everything riding only to find out when we discuss.....so, let's keep on the discussion, here or elsewhere, doesn't matter as long as it helps us be aware and thrive.
