What is an argumentative essay?

source

An argumentative essay is an essay that uses evidence and facts to support the claim it's making. Its purpose is to persuade the reader to agree with the argument being made. A good argumentative essay will use facts and evidence to support the argument, rather than just the author's thoughts and opinions.

Should Students get limited access to the Internet?

The Internet has become an essential part of modern life, providing access to a variety of information, resources, and services that allow us to stay connected and informed.

For students, the Internet has become an invaluable tool for research, communication, and collaboration. While it can be a great asset, there are those who argue that students should have limited access to the Internet to protect them from potential harm.

On the one hand, limiting students’ access to the Internet can help protect them from the potential risks associated with its use.

The Internet can be a dangerous place, filled with predators and cyberbullies who are looking for vulnerable targets.

By limiting access, it is easier to control and monitor what students are exposed to and ensure that they remain safe. Additionally, it can help keep them from being distracted by social media and other forms of entertainment, allowing them to focus on their studies.

On the other hand, limiting students’ access to the Internet can be detrimental to their education.

The Internet is an invaluable resource for research and collaboration and restricting access can limit students’ ability to take advantage of these tools. Additionally, it can stifle creativity and innovation, as students may be unable to explore new ideas or connect with like-minded peers.

Finally, it could lead to censorship of content that is deemed inappropriate, potentially limiting students’ access to important information.

Ultimately, it is up to parents and educators to decide how much access to the Internet is appropriate for students.

While it is important to protect students from potential risks, it is also important to ensure that they can take advantage of the educational opportunities that the Internet provides. As such, it is best to find a balance between safety and access and to provide students with the tools and guidance they need to stay safe while taking advantage of the resources the Internet provides.

Good essay. In my childhood I had many restrictions, obviously there was no internet, the "coconut" at that time was the television which was excessively restricted, I could only see it if one of my parents was present, I remember that my father asked me to turn my face in the When one of the characters was going to give each other a shy kiss, I admit that an unusual curiosity for these topics developed in me.
As a mother I had a different attitude, with limits but without exaggerations.

I think that banning the internet to young people puts them at a disadvantage compared to other adolescents. It is preferable to leave a certain margin of freedom and be careful with the frequent conversation about what they are doing and put the necessary filters for what is dangerous.

Best regards.
