Hello friends, happy start of the week, thanks for stopping by my blog, today I want to share a post about some strategies that I apply to read academic texts, when doing research work is necessary to have clear ideas of the information to be used in order to achieve the goals set.
Hola amigos, feliz inicio de semana, gracias por pasar por mi blog, hoy les quiero compartir un post a cerca de algunas estrategias que aplico para leer textos académicos, cuando se realiza trabajos de investigación es necesario tener ideas claras de la información que se utilizara para de esa manera lograr las metas planteadas.
Before doing the reading, it is necessary to be clear about the guidelines of the research or the task, which are regularly defined in the evaluation plan and in the course plan of each subject, so they must be fully complied with in order to pass with the minimum or maximum grade, it is necessary to be clear about the instructions to be followed. One must try to understand that reading is a capacity to understand what is written, but in university life it goes beyond reading, one must find the knowledge that forms a power of analysis and criticism of each citizen and future professional, so for this I recommend:
Antes de realizar la lectura se debe tener claro las pautas de la investigación o la tarea, que regularmente están definidas en el plan de evaluación y en el plan de curso de cada asignatura, por lo que se debe cumplir a cabalidad para poder aprobar con la mínima o máxima calificación, es necesario tener claro las instrucciones a seguir. Se debe tratar de entender que la lectura es una capacidad de comprender lo escrito, pero en la vida universitaria va mas allá de leer, se debe encontrar los conocimientos que formen un poder de análisis y critico de cada ciudadano y futuro profesional, por lo que para ello recomiendo:
1.Have questions about what you want to investigate, such as what do I know about the central theme of the text I will read, in this way you have expectations to fulfil and you obtain an update of the critical knowledge to be obtained.
2.Have the text at hand either in printed or digital form, it is recommended to carry out a floating reading. Which is a reading from beginning to end which allows to know the text in a global way in a fast way, it is to know the quantity of its pages, reason why to handle the index is key for it, through the index it is possible to know the number of the chapters and the thickness of the same ones, if a book is studied in its totality the reading must be processed chapter by chapter, that is to say until one does not have the comprehension of the chapter one cannot pass to the next one.
3.To know the author of the book, his data is usually on the spine or on the cover of the book, the biographical data are indispensable in the research, in addition to this there is a personal record of the texts read and worked on.
4.Next, an elaborate and critical reading is carried out, which is more in-depth. Through this, inferences can be made from what is read in order to be able to solve the problems posed in this way, thus modifying previous knowledge. In this way you can build personal perspectives, with courage and new positions. Take notes and place the page number of the book, as well as if the reading comprehension is somewhat heavy, it is good to have a mark that allows to locate the information to continue doing the research.
5.Structure and plan the time for reading, this determines the success of a research of any kind, it is necessary to establish strategies and personal tools, it is important to establish a minimum of time in a constant way, it should be done every day, in such a way to obtain the habit of reading.
6.Last but not least, it is important to manage the level of stress and anxiety, to go step by step, to have the information at hand, it is necessary to know the personal rhythm of work and the amount of time in function of the programmed, it is necessary to look for the quality but not the quantity of what is done.
1.Tener interrogantes acerca de lo que se quiere investigar, como por ejemplo ¿qué conozco sobre el tema central del texto que leeré?, de esta manera se tienen expectativas a cumplir y se obtiene la actualización del conocimiento crítico a obtener.
2.Tener a la mano el texto ya sea de manera impresa o digital, se recomienda realizar una lectura flotante. El cual es una lectura de inicio a fin la cual permite conocer el texto de manera global en forma rápida, es saber la cantidad de sus páginas, por lo que manejar el índice es clave para ello, a través del índice se puede saber el número de los capítulos y el grosor de los mismos, si se estudia un libro en su totalidad se debe procesar la lectura capitulo por capitulo, es decir hasta que no se tenga la comprensión del capítulo no se puede pasar al próximo.
3.Conocer el autor del libro, sus datos regularmente esta en el lomo o en la cubierta del del libro, los datos biográficos son indispensables en la investigación, además de ello se cuenta con un registro personal de los textos leídos y trabajados.
4.Seguidamente realizar una lectura elaborada y crítica, el cual es más profunda. A través de esta se puede realizar inferencias de lo que se lee para poder así resolver los problemas planteados de esta manera se va modificando los conocimientos previos. Donde se puede construir perspectivas personales, con valor y nuevas posturas. Tomar notas y colocar el numero de la pagina del libro, al igual si la comprensión de la lectura es algo pesada es bueno tener una marca que permita ubicar la información para seguir realizando la investigación.
5.Estructurar y planificar el tiempo para la lectura, esto determina el éxito de una investigación del tipo que sea, es necesario establecer estrategias y herramientas personales, es importante establecer un mínimo de tiempo de manera constante, se debe realizar todos los días, de tal manera de obtener el hábito de la lectura.
6.Una última pero no menos importante es manejar el nivel de stress y ansiedad, ir paso a paso, al tener la información a la mano, es necesario conocer el ritmo personal de trabajo y la cantidad de tiempo en función de lo programado, se debe buscar la calidad mas no la cantidad de lo que se hace.
These strategies do not necessarily have to be carried out in this specific order, they can be combined and include others given the experience of each person, what is really important is the effort and training that lead to high research competences.
