Effective teacher-student relationship has been a major term in our today world. As a teacher, what kind of relationship do you have with your students? How do you interact with your student and vice-versa? Does it make the learning fun or boring?
There are certain measures taken as per to the questions above.

First off, what inspiration of action do you have for every of your student? A good relationship between a teacher and a student comes in play when the parties involved are open to each other, honest and respectful. Once this elements are in place, then the interactive skill between the teacher and the students is revealed. This is when your assistance in their personal and professional development will be assured.

Establishing consistent boundaries and thoughts for your interactions with your students will be a tool for evaluating the effectiveness of the plan developed. You must know what the aim of the boundaries are and also be consistent on it. What does this boundaries look like and in what angle is it? The positive or negative…what will be the impact of it on the progress of the students.

In developing a good interactive relationship with your students, there are criteria to be considered such as; figuring out their professional and personal needs and the ways to responding to the needs, and also listening to the plights of the students.

What are the kind of words you used on them? Questions of such has a major role to play when talking about teacher-students relationship. It is vital to take close range on them in encouraging and also providing support to them. Positive reinforcement should always be used on them rather than reprimands when teaching. Always remind them as being valued…these points will always help you in developing a good teacher – student interactive relationship.
