Ayer fue mi primer día de clases, y sin temor a equivocarme, fue uno de los primeros días de clases más raros, divertidos y agotadores que he tenido. Así que aquí les contaré como estuvo.
Empecé mi día a las 5:30 am. Un día antes, nos pidieron que estuviéramos en la escuela a las 6:30, ya que los chicos de último año nos iban a recibir y darle la bienvenida a los nuevos.
Cuando llegamos al colegio ya estaban los chicos de 4to y 5to año, empezando uno de los eventos más populares de nuestro colegio. La bulla.
El evento consiste en una especie de competencia entre 4to y 5to. Cada año se colocan en las escaleras del colegio, con tambores, pancartas, globos, etc y tienen que llamar a la mayor cantidad de gente de otros años a su escalera. El que haga más bulla, gana.
Originalmente se hacía para entretener, y al final elegían a los presidentes del consejo estudiantil. Con el tiempo, solo lo hacían por el bochinche.
Luego de que llegamos y los chicos de 4to y 5to hicieron la bienvenida, el rector nos dio la bienvenida y cantamos el himno nacional y el himno del colegio.
Lo que fue peculiar de este primer día de clases, además de la bulla (que se solía hacer a final de año), fue que este año mezclaron las secciones.
A causa de un incidente, el colegio decidió mezclar a todas las secciones, es decir, que ya no estaría con los chicos con los que llevaba estudiando desde hace 3 años. Eso fue aterrador.
Caí en la sección A, la cual tiene fama de no ser la mejor sección. Sin embargo, a juzgar por la primera impresión, no estuvo tan mal. Nos tocó el mejor salón, y los chicos que cayeron en mi sección parecen simpáticos. Habrá que esperar a ver cómo se desenvuelven durante el año.
En el primer recreo, continuó la bulla. Fue genial, lo disfruté mucho.
Luego que terminamos con las clases del día, los de 3er año hicimos un compartir. Estuvo regular, ya que solo llegaron, agarraron comida, y se fueron. Pero la intención de los representantes fue linda.
Y con eso concluyó mi primer día de clases. No fue el mejor del mundo, pero tampoco fue el peor.
Tendré que acostumbrarme a la nueva sección, a las nueva personas, y a el nuevo ambiente, pero tengo un buen presentimiento de este año.

Yesterday was my first day of school, and undoubtedly, it was one of the weirdest, funniest and exciting first days of school I've ever had. So here I'll tell you how it went.
I started my day at 5:30 am. A day before, we were asked to be at school at 6:30, since the senior class was going to greet us and welcome the new kids.
When we arrived at school, Juniors and Seniors were already there, starting one of our school's most popular events. The bulla (noise).
The event consists of a sort of competition between Juniors and Seniors. Each year, they stand on the stairs of the school, with drums, banners, balloons, etc. and they have to call the most people from other years to their staircase. Those who make the most noise, win.
Originally, it was done for entertainment, and at the end, they elected student council presidents. Eventually, they just did it for the bochinche (fun).
After we arrived and the Juniors and Seniors did the welcome, the rector welcomed us and we sang the national anthem and the school anthem.
What was peculiar about this first day of school, besides the noise (which was usual at the end of the year), was that this year they mixed up the sections.
Because of an incident, the school decided to mix all the sections, meaning that I would no longer be with the friends I had been studying with for three years. That was scary.
I fell into section A, which has a reputation for not being the best section. However, judging by first impressions, it wasn't so bad. We got the best room, and the guys who fell into my section seem nice. We'll have to wait and see how they do during the year.
At the first recess, the hullabaloo continued. It was great, I enjoyed it a lot.
After we were done with classes for the day, the 3rd years had a get-together. It was average, as they just came, grabbed food, and left. But the intention of the parents was nice.
And that concluded my first day of school. It wasn't the best in the world, but it wasn't the worst either.
I will have to get used to the new section, the new people, and the new environment, but I have a good feeling about this year.
