Are you someone who sees what is going on around you or are you always on your phone and almost never look up?
To take in the things around you, care about it and see what is happening means you are a 'mindful' person. You go through life with your eyes open and you enjoy it. Not everybody is like that, but you can work on it.
There are so many advantages if you are a mindful person
you are more focused and learn easily
you will not be easily distracted
you will be calmer and not get worked up or upset easily
you will see and learn new things
you will see people that needs you
you will learn to be kind and not just think of yourself
you will listen to others and get along better with different people
This is not something that comes natural to all people and you will have to make sure you practice it and 'train your brain'.
Start off with small things and choose one thing every day to do and to concentrate while you are doing it and taking it in. It can be talking to a friend, petting your dog, walking in the garden etc. But whatever you choose to do, make sure you focus on that and nothing else, Be mindful of how you feel and what is happening.
You can make the decision every day to take it a bit slower and experience things around you. You will be amazed at what you see and feel if you just look and listen and concentrate on one thing at a time.
You can also do some exercises or meditation or listen to music to help calm your brain.
I took the time to read this post.
Is not a joke, i usually open a post, read 3 lines and skip it.
Same with videos and other things.
it felt good only doing one thing.
Have a nice day!
Thank you - have a nice day
Dear @anneke, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,
