Remote education or Online education are the only solution we had to continue our educational system. Students are under lockdown and they are isolated at homes. Online education is a great challenge for both students and also for teachers. Even in the school level or in the university level , the challenge is same. So let's take a look at what are the challenges we have to face in e-learning.
I'm very new to this platform and this is my first post in this community. I'm really thankful to @educationhive for creating a community like this which took my attention as I'm working as a academic. Today I'm going to open discussion with you on a very important matter. We all know that , covid 19 pandemic very seriously affected the educational system though the world.
Difficulty in Transition to Online Education

Transition from classroom learning to online learning is not simple. Specially for teachers as they have to reconfigure all their teaching materials to a digital version and also they have to change their teaching strategies. And during this transitions we got to overcome lot of things such as remoteness, isolation, connectivity issues and technical barriers. Some of the teachers may not have the enough technical expertise to handle this at first. So as students. So this transition period is very challengeable for both sides.
Internet Connectivity
Internet connectivity is a major issue for most of the countries. Without internet facilities e learning is not possible. And on the other hand most of the students around the world do not have the devices to connect to internet or teaching platforms. This is a major challenge for e- learning.
Isolation of Students
Actually this is a psychological factor which can be very negative for students. Due to the covid pandemic this isolation is unavoidable. It's really difficult to keep a motivated , positive mentality of students. I personally believe that during the lecture and after the lecture teacher / host should provide a free time for students . So they will get the same feeling as they are in the classroom. This will be very positive for students.
