I agree with you, education is so important, especially in today's society where there is so much technical change. I think one of the most important things is teaching people to think critically and research, so that people aren't as susceptible to believing propaganda and scams, and also so they can learn new skills themselves when the technology inevitably changes (for example, super old computers I learned on in school aren't at all what computers are like now).
