So I am restarting my University at UOPEOPLE, University of the People and I am doing Health Science Associates Degree/Bachelors Degree, I guess it is some kind of Pre-Med course I chose it as it was the easiest part of the STEM Courses, I'm terrible at math's and computer science. I'm only doing the A.S. part but they say if I am passing at 2.0 GPA/C to 2.65 GPA/B-, I can do the B.S. as the A.S. counts as half of it, but due to earlier grades I can only do 1 course every 9 weeks currently or 15 hours, weekly for normal people or 30-45 hours for people like me that have a severe learning disability. When I applied they said I have to pay 60$/50£ to reenroll and then I can apply for a scholarship and I confirmed this with them 3 times and when I eventually paid the enrollment fee, they said you GPA is to low and cant have a scholarship. So I kicked up a stink about their business practices and on Monday they sent me an email saying I have scholarship for 10 terms and I can apply for more should my GPA rise above 2.0, sometimes bitching does help.
I wish I could say the same about Student Card, as were all online we do not need them, apparently, I tried NUS, NUS/Extra, Totum, ISIC and Unidays. Nus don't do distance learning but NUS/Extra does at least they did until they gave that part to Totum as they deal with it and by dealing with it they actually do not anymore and said I need an ISIC but they do not do part time students. Luckily, I found Unidays, and they even support UOPEOPLE unlike the others and part-time is not a problem, but until I get my official UOPEOPLE email I have to wait a little longer, so I must wait.
At least UOPEOPLE gave me access to Citations and References refreshers for my courses, it's not difficult doing this but you have 20 options when doing it and each of those options have at least 5 options too. My dad says when he was at uni he highlighted what he was referring to, which isn't an option as it is all online so either print it out or find a digital work around.
I get to pick my course on the 19th of this month with a start around the 7th of next month, any work I do I will share here and please by all means give me criticisms, who knows maybe I can get an (A+) for once?
Yours
