Lesson 1
This month I'm going to teach your little ones how to play chess.
Chess is played on a square board and very important the white block of the board must always be on you right side.
For example:
This one is completely wrong because the black block is on the right hand side and it is supposed to be on the other side.

This one is right
Very important Before you can put your men on the board, you need to make sure that your board is set up correctly.
To play chess you need soldiers. Because chess is a war game between you and your friend.

This is what a chess game looks like.

Now I'm going to introduce you to your soldiers. You're each going to have sixteen soldiers to play with.
PAWNS
They always stand in the front row of the battlefield.
ROOKS
KNIGHTS
BISHOPS
THE QUEEN
THE KING
This is your pawns and that is how you place them on the board.
The easiest way to set up your chess board is to put your rooks first on the board
Then you place your two Knights next to the Rooks.
Then you place your Bishop's next to your Knights.
Then there are only two men left and that's the King and Queen. See it was not that difficult.
Very important the black Queen on the black block.
The white Queen on the white block.

Thank you for commenting, yes, all of the above. It's also one of my favourite games. My father taught me to play when I was a little boy.
