In order to increase parental engagement, schools can provide opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's education, such as parent-teacher conferences, workshops and seminars, and volunteer opportunities. They can also provide communication in multiple languages, use technology such as parent portals, or use home-school journals. Additionally, schools can work with community organizations to provide resources and support for families.
It would be a wrong decision for parents not to involve in their children's education.
Not involving yourself as a parent gives children the privilege to misbehave and not even take education seriously. We can't leave all the job for teachers to do so parents must play their parts as well.
