RE: Barnacles, an adventure in nanofiction

Thank you for the compliments on the nanofiction! 💖

"jazz/ blues... What are some of your faves?"

OMG, there are so many! 😂

I like Charles Lloyd (especially the song "Harvest" from his 1972 album "Waves" which has entranced me since I was a teenager). In my collection, I also have albums by Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Deodato, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Hailu Mergia, Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, and so many others. I like the simple stylings of Jimmie Reed and R.L. Burnside. Bela Fleck is always good, whether he's playing with The Flecktones or his wife Abigail Washburn (his album "The Hidden Land" with his group The Flecktones is subperb). Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown is good, especially on his "Gate Swings" album. Of course, Dave Brubeck is always incomparable. The gentle stylings of Dexter Gordon and Norman Brown are always lovely! This list should send you down several rabbit holes of good music! 😁
