In the West you get censored and jailed for criticising the ever expanding and more and more ludicrous woke globalist agenda, in Russia for criticising Putin and the Ukraine War.
I know which one is simpler to deal with and keep out of trouble while living a normal life.
Wartime restrictions on freedom of speech are commonly used in the West too.
I'm not sure that either side is any worse than the other in this respect.

Thanks for your comment and upvotes. I think the government's are afraid of citizens who are ready to expose their evil agenda and this isn't an exemption. Truly all governments are bad.
