Peter R. De Vries, very well known crime Journalist of the Netherlands , known for having dangerous information and needing the police to guard his house at times. Has been shot 5 times one of them being a head shot leaving him in critical condition at the hospital, Police have received several reports from eyewitness along with CCTV footage confirming this information.
The description of the suspect is a light-skinned man with a slender build, a dark green camouflage jacket and a black cap (how descriptive lol). Police have asked people not to approach the man as he can be armed and dangerous, an arrest has been made, but has yet to be confirmed by police.
I find due to the great deal of high profile cases Peter R de Vries has been involved in such as In 2013 Heineken's kidnapper, Willem Holleeder. Also the 1983 kidnapping of beer magnate Freddy kieneken, the sloot sex trafficking ring and as well as investigating a great deal of police corruption. There is no telling what criminal organization is behind this attack on Peter, lets pray and hope he recovers with no brain damage as he has done a great service to bring justice for many.

I just read it in the news and was shocked. I really enjoyed his reporting and investigative docu-style and used to watch him with my parents.
