These days I would write more if there literally was not so much going on. There is the phrase "drinking from a firehose" when a large amount of information is coming at once. These days the sheer amount of lunacy, and information are coming so fast it feels more like standing in the path of a spillway as the spillway is being opened. So much information is flowing past at an increasing volume that latching onto pieces of it to focus upon is a challenging task.
What is happening with Twitter is a great thing as far as I am concerned.
Censorship is the tool of the criminal. The truth no matter how unattractive is something for people to know in order for them to be informed as they navigate and make decisions in life. If the bad guys are able to hide the fact that they are very nasty people simply due to the fact they can censor anyone that tries to inform people then that makes the world a much less safe place.
It is strange that they claim to be fighting misinformation and hate speech when they basically are taking their marching orders from the people doing everything to make certain that no one can point out how corrupt, evil, and often hateful they are.
The push to censor hate speech ends up hiding the true hate speech and corruption from the people. That results in the true misinformation.
Censorship leads to ignorance.
You need to be informed to know what to do.
Whom is the person you view as your master that you think should be able to see things and decide you should not be able to see them?
For me the answer is no one.
Now we have Antifa and others that will defend a lot of the censorship and pushing of certain narratives. That is another strange thing. Antifa is supposed to stand for Anti-Fascist.
Yet right now the government is colluding with "private corporations" to bypass the Constitution and violate your rights. They say they are not violating your rights because it is a "private company" that is doing it. Yet the private company is very often doing it at the behest/request/demand of the government.
There is a name for that. It is fascism.
Antifa ends up being the foot soldiers for the fascists. Much like some of the most racist people on the planet these days claim to be the anti-racists.
The people decrying hate speech are the ones quickest to tell you about all the people and things they hate.
We live in a world where projection is increasingly becoming the norm.
A world where if people spoke into a mirror as they made accusations what they are saying might actually be accurate.
Instead they accuse other people of the things they themselves are guilty.
With some of them they do this out of instinct. With others it is intentional as they know that Saul Alinsky and others pushed this as a tactic in things like "Rules for Radicals".
It is interesting they consider themselves radicals and anti-establishment when they are the ones pushing the narrative and desires of the establishment.
I mean what really is the establishment? Is it the guy or gal that was just elected and hasn't had time to do anything yet? I personally say it is the people that have been in office for decades and it is the people who are unelected but influence all the people in office and act much like the puppet masters. These so-called radicals, and anti-establishment people are pushing the narrative of the establishment. That would make them neither radical or anti-establishment.
Those that claim to be fighting misinformation are using censorship as their tool. THEY are the ones trying to keep people ignorant. THEY are the ones that want you to carefully believe what they want you to believe. THEY are the ones pushing the misinformation. They count on the useful idiots to do their work for them.
I've started thinking of those that think they are radicals, anti-establishment, anti-racist, and woke warriors as the FIRE AND FORGET MOB.
The establishment elites use words and emotions to aim the mob at a target and then they FIRE and FORGET and let the mob go to work without any control.
They steer them at new targets as necessary.
What it is going on at Twitter is fighting this. There is hope. What Ron DeSantis is doing in Florida against Big Pharma and the lies around the vaccines that we were not allowed to talk about is fighting this.
What the people of Brazil are doing is fighting this.
What Kari Lake is attempting to do is fighting this.
Keep fighting.
Don't censor people!
Don't demand stopping of hate speech!
Don't demand the government protect you from your own responsibilities!
Don't listen to people saying they are fighting misinformation!
Don't react blindly to people calling things racist. Most of the time these days it doesn't have anything to do with race.
Don't blame things on race that more likely are more about culture. Culture can be changed. Race cannot.
Don't accuse people of lying if they believe what they are saying. A lie requires intent to deceive. It means they know it is wrong but they say it anyway. People these days are often accused of lying when they are not. They are simply wrong.
We are all wrong often. If we learn from it that is a good thing. If we keep being wrong about the same thing that is a bad thing.
We need to applaud when people learn. We need to not bash them for their past if they have learned.
That's it. That is my rant, thoughts, whatever...

NOPE. That is just being wrong. Big difference. A lie requires the intent to deceive.
