I just look at that difference between the Russian army these days and the Ukrainian military. Ukrainian forces have a massive support system supplying hot food snacks coffee and all sorts of other stuff to the front line positions.
Well, those are the consequences of invading (Russia) such a strategic place in the world. And more, for the powerful interests that do a lot in that region of the world.
