The massive crime of Portland, Ganjafarmer fights back

in Deep Dives3 years ago

Well I have been noticing that there's a massive amount of crime however it really didn't hit me how much crime is happening until this past couple days.

I'm at a really cool guy and he is really into German shepherds so we hit it off. He also loves to do auto mechanics and has his own shop so we are even better friends. When people have problems and they are my friends I need help them out and this individual ended up getting two cars and a boat stolen from him.

So why not help him get it all back.

Tweaker hunting is not a problem for me.

Well the first vehicle was recovered and we go to the tow lot which I happen to have started my towing and then that transferred over to repossessions. Talking with them they alerted us to the location the stolen car was picked up.

So we then drove over to the location and low and behold there is the boat sitting right there.

Afterwards the police told us my plan of just going and getting it after calling and letting law enforcement know what is the best plan.

However my friend decided he wanted to wait for the cops to show up. So even though we had stolen property right there. We ended up having to wait an hour and a half.

However the cops are really cool about things...

Early this morning.

Around midnight or so I noticed the other stolen vehicle pulling into the property that was getting repetitively burglarized. And unfortunately I wasn't able to block him in. He led me on a Mary Chase and at one point he messed up with his gearing and the manual transmission and I was nearly able to rip him out of the classic suburban. But he then ran and I wasn't able to catch up with the tweeker....

So standing guard over the night I didn't really notice any more incursions.

Daylight

Oh yeah. Wandered over to my friends shop. He showed up and we loaded up.

Getting to the Target location we were able to immediately Target the thief of the boat and keep him under surveillance until he decided to drive off. At which point we followed him and he freaked out trying to race away in a motor home.

Well he is driving crazy so I just passed him. Then I was trying to box him in next to a semi however he decided to make you turn nearly hitting my friend in the follow-up vehicle. And of course nearly running me off the road.

So basically the conclusion of this is now this individual has admitted that he was the one that stole the boat.

I was pretty interested in getting him to talk which he did.

Unfortunately he was not arrested taking a jail or even handcuffed even though he is guilty and admits that he stole and possessed a boat that is clearly over the felony financial statute.

He did get three tickets or so. However now the local law enforcement in Vancouver Washington now has all of his information.

And hopefully this individual will get some charges. .

However this is a complete debacle because all of these criminals are allowed to Rob individuals for everything that isn't nailed down to fund the addiction cycle of fentanyl and now to a lesser degree methamphetamines.

The individual that we were dealing with, absolutely a complete and total methamphetamines addict.

And the homeless camp was over a mile long taking up both sides of the road. We are talking about multiple garbage trucks of garbage just scattered around not to mention the massive amount of human waste as well as misery.

This was absolutely and totally crazy. And these encampments are horrific. Imagine a crack house however it's an entire mile long down the road. Cars getting chopped up prostitutes wandering from dealer to dealer. Violence and crime are so connected with the addiction cycle.

I cannot abide people who take from others. And when my friends need help I need to help them out which this has helped me out quite a great deal because my new friend filled my tank! $145 worth of gasoline.

I've taken a serious chunk to run back and forth hunting these tweakers. However just possibly I might be okay for the rest of this week which will be a huge blessing because puppy dog needs food. Hopefully we will be able to get to the first!

Well I hope all friends can work together and help each other out.

The final thing I can say is it is really a shame when a small business owner is getting stolen from so much that even though they make a good living all of their assets disappear into the hands of these homeless addicts that just make a profession out of stealing from the honest.

Sort:

Absolutely crazy. But at least you're proving there is still hope. More people should join forces and work together.

Unfortunately it doesn't pay and the mental as well as psychological tolls start to add up.

Good help is hard to find especially when you don't pay.

Goddamn man! This sucks you had to deal with this crap. But I'm glad you got his ass though LOL. I hope he gets charged with grand theft. I'm so glad I don't live in Portland anymore LOL.

I am here of my own free will and helping others something that if I was in this situation I'd really hope that friends would help me.

Well the community is getting upset and tired of this behavior.

I can just imagine because the police are not willing to take action and prevent this others will have to and it will be the community that reacts.

Well such a shame. I guess these individuals need to learn a valuable lesson about how the world really works and that people do not like thieves.

Yes, the drugs is leading to so much crazy. People seeking to work within the bounds of an orderly society, including police and government, have not found any viral solutions. Direct action is hard work, time consuming, sometimes unsuccessful, and expensive.

Your friends are very brave for taking the matter into your own hands. I have no respect for selfishness, especially at the expense of other lives.

Almost had a dangerous encounter last night. A guy was walking in the middle of the road down near the library flagging cars, and blocking them to ask for help. I thought he might need medical help from a violent situation, and I was a fool for attempting to stop and be a good Samaritan.

His sweatshirt sleeves were dangling off his hands, and he was walking slowly and off balance, and he was in tears crying. Only rolling down my window enough to hear him, he was begging me for something. I thought he said "I need a call", and told him I would not let him use my phone. Then he clarified, "Don't you have any opiods?"

Why do I fall for these traps? I am lucky he didn't have a weapon or hit my car. I should have seen the signs. This neighborhood is so far gone, their politicians might as well run the slogan "Need dope? Get woke." Anyway, I told the dude I don't have drugs, not even a cigarette. With that word, I watched his heart crack, and I drove off. I saw no signs of any police patrol cars on the rest of the way home. Very unusual considering how close the presinct is to the library.

Today I am thankful that I am alive. None of my family or I had any interest in messing around with drugs all my life. This ghost was a reminder to me that my ancestors may have struggled with alcohol abuse and drugs, but the demons are still out there waiting to grab us in our first moment of weakness. Sometimes that is all it takes to fall into a life stuck in a perpetual, personal prison.

Yeah I don't think I wrote about it yet.

Picked up a cute little girl who was crying and saying she needed a ride.

Not long after she starts going crazy and threatens to stab me then starts to reach for the knife.

Well I was driving and immediately slammed on the brakes then when we were nearly to a dead stop I dive over her and grab her right elbow with her fingers touching the help of the knife.

It was a very close race. And luckily enough I was able to access the weapon first and remove it from the situation. Then I started driving again pulled over and removed her from the vehicle gently even though she refused and tried to wedge herself in.

Currently right now the situation is getting so bad and normal people are not aware of the craziness that is happening.

I would look up Ed Calderon and Ed's manifesto. He has a massive wealth of information about the cartels their drug operations and the drugs that are currently coming over the border.

Synthetic opiates are the biggest health crisis and it is all coming from China.

All of these chemicals are sent to Mexico and then mixed AKA cooked. Smuggling it across the border is easily done. And now you can purchase these synthetic opiates for rock bottom prices. Even beating heroin with little to no production and labor costs.

You have to be careful these days and harden your heart to the suffering of others.

Pretty much all of these crazy addicts have my sympathy however when they are hurting themselves with self-inflicted damage I cannot have sympathy for them or any pity.

Hard experience makes me say that there is no pity for the self-inflicted.

Well said. Very glad you came out of that situation unscathed. Your quick wits saved your butt from something worse.

Many Portlanders who grew up here are notoriously kind, the the point of being overly considerate drivers and hospital hosts. It all makes the perfect home for abusers who suck onto enablers.

Today I was blasted multiple times by different people with altercations on the street outside my work. If I am not in control of my triggered emotions it might reignite the social phobias I struggled with for years.

One dude was shouting things like "false prophet, pariah, rapist" at me when I entered the nearby convenience store, and again when I returned taking a wider walk further away from him. When I got to the cash register to warn the clerk about him scaring away people by the door, the dude entered the store and was standing twenty feet away near the other register, so I didn't say anything. Turns out he was acting sugar sweet to the store clerks so he could recharge his phone again.

The guy was putting on an act inside and outside, and the clerks are feeding the neighborhood rats. One of these days I am going to snap, and woe to the poor sap who pokes this hornet's nest on his own turf.

Police are absolutely tired of this and have told me multiple times just deal with the problems because they are tired of being emasculated and not able to take any action against these idiots.

I just barely published today is blog and another two law enforcement situations in one day.

Next door neighbor business owner is absolutely upset and dealing with the same issues and we are all going to join forces.

Some drunk guy busted two vehicle windows and a vehicle parking boot.

Then he decided he was going to sleep in the vehicle... Absolute craziness.

You have to want that help. And the synthetic opioid addiction and flood? It is cheaper to get fentanyl than it is a pack of cigarettes.

If I was addicted and only wanted to feed the cravings with a daily dose of drugs, Portland suburbs are ripe for the pickings to get free handouts.

Until the pain of getting caught is worse than the pain of withdrawal symptoms and difficulties to get cleaned up and rehabilitated, there is no effective solution for those lost souls living here. The laws and citizens here are very soft.

Every day with increasing crime we lead to a jungle society. A society like the movie Mad max. I read the daily news about your country and it never ceases to sadly surprise me! Especially some states! Thanks for your shares story and post

Thank you very much and it is only fair that I do what I can with the knowledge experience and capability that I have.

Oh man that is horrible - the things stolen yes, but even worse, the fact that the cops would not arrest him - those people need to be in prison!

That's the only way to make it stop. Truly.

Well with common people getting upset and coming over to repossess their items? All of these reports coming through to the police.

Absolutely there is going to be a huge change and the people of Oregon are tired of the district attorneys. Because if it wasn't for the district attorney's policy law enforcement officers have enough laws to be able to arrest this criminal. As well as prisons to house them in.

However these days there is absolutely no Justice from those responsible for prosecuting criminals.

Increase in crime has become order of the day and this current happenings has the tendency of weakening the sanity of our society. Though things might be just as it is, therefore hope for a change if there's corporation to tackle it. Thank you @ganjafarmer

It is time for these things too learn about consequences for their actions.

Cities progressive new attitude and hands-off approach results in the destruction of your society if you don't allow the police to do their job, and allow the courts to enable this..

Add to it legalize drugs in Portland and over here in Washington that is not the case. So all the addicts in Portland come across the bridge. Crossing one bridge means that they're in another state and there's different laws.

In Washington possession of meth and fentanyl isn't allowed or decriminalized.

In the state of Oregon you can have under an ounce of anything. Which is resulting in this insane chaotic situation.
