I agree, there should be no foreign aid at all with taxpayer dollars, but right now US is giving Israel 10.5 million every single day and Biden just signed 700 million dollar weapons deal selling them more US weapons to bomb Gaza, while there are no weapons deals with Palestinians, minimal funding to Palestinians, and no condemnation of Israeli airstrikes but only of Gaza rockets. It is clear US government has chosen a side, and I strongly oppose the one-sided US support of Israel. If US leaders truly seek peace, they would withdraw this support of the biggest war machine in the entire Middle East.
And while I do not support Hamas ideology, I do recognize the Palestinian right to resist illegal occupation under international law, whether I personally support the organization undertaking that resistance (Hamas is not the only Palestinian militant group to confront Israel), and many common people stand up against Israel apart from Hamas, as we are now seeing across the entire occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
