'Propaganda War' Turned HCQ Into Political Drug Says Yale Epidemiologist, Doctors Saving Lives Targeted by Medical Board

Another outspoken medical professional going against the grain of the official narrative of hate for hydroxychloroquine has come forth in support of HCQ. Yale Epidemiologist Dr. Harvey Risch spoke with Fox News to give his take on what is going on with HCQ and how it's being bastardized by politics which isn't based on facts.

In his interview he stated there is an ongoing propaganda war that is not based on medical facts. The facts don't matter. Decisions are being made for political reasons instead of medical ones to stop people from being treated for COVID-19, and punish doctors who dare care enough to do so.

It's a political drug now, not a medical drug... We are basically fighting a propaganda war against medical facts.

There are many doctors that I’ve gotten hostile remarks about saying that all the evidence is bad for it and, in fact, that is not true at all.

All the evidence is actually good for it when it is used in outpatient uses. Nevertheless, the only people who actually say that are a whole pile of doctors who are on the front lines treating those patients across the country and they are the ones who are at risk being forced not to do it

It's surprising that a mainstream media outlet does talk about HCQ favorably. The political bend is quite obvious, as Fox is generally "right-wing". Other mainstream media outlets are pretty much "left-wing", like ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, and their main stance on HCQ Is that it's dangerous. Any opportunity they had to trounce around bad science from bad studies was seized.

If Trump had never spoken a word of HCQ, would Fox News have spoken about it? Would we know about it? Dr. Zelenko is attributed with sending a letter to Trump to tell him of it's effective use to treat COVID-19 patients. What if that letter was never sent? What if it became known, but Trump wasn't the one to introduce it to the public? Would the mainstream media and other left leaning "leaders" and "experts" have been more receptive of it? I think so.

But we know about HCQ, despite most of the medias attempt to demonize it. Yet, there is still a push from a corrupt system to prevent it's use in treatment, despite being used for decades. Doctors want to and are helping people overcome COVID-19, yet they are being targeted for discipline. No good deed goes unpunished as they say.

As a result of this political nonsense, people have died who could have otherwise survived. The properly done studies have shown a significant effect in reducing the outcome of death. Researchers at the Henry Ford Health System in Southeast Michigan published a study which found a "66 percent hazard ratio reduction" when HCQ was used alone, and a 71% reduction with HCQ and azithromycin.

The positive studies have taken quick action to treat patients. Letting people get too sick with severe immune reactions can mean treatment is a little late for the HCQ and AZT to work in some cases. Nonetheless, using these treatments, especially with zinc, would prevent deaths. Dr. Zelenko explains HCQ as the gun, while zinc is the bullet being fired into the cell to "kill" the infection. It's odd that this protocol of using zinc isn't being done in some of these studies. Zelenko has a 99% survival rate on his patients.

Trump's a puppet and/or useful idiot of the worst kind. The Sniffer is a nightmare. The USA is toast in so many ways.

Indeed it is, hyperinflation on it's way at some point...

It's a bad sign when medical treatments have become politicized and associated with certain political views. It is highly likely that if Trump never spoke about HCQ that people would be more open to it as a possibility.

Of course, big pharma is one of the major funders of all political parties in the US, but in that case they're apolitical. They just hedge their bets to make sure their products are approved by greasing the wheels.

Yeah there is always the big pharma pressure to keep it suppressed and push for other things.
