I share your point of view. I find it extremely embarrassing how certain media outlets don't even ask about the crisis in Gaza. It is as if it didn't exist. In that sense, yesterday I commented in my Latin American report on a dynamic I observed in an Argentinean media---interviewing Paraguayan President Santiago Peña---which exemplifies the above.
