they gamble away their life because they've been conditioned to believe they are WORTHLESS.
they spend their focus/attention they trade their life for the CHANCE of becoming a CORPORATE SLAVE.

I've got to admit that you are one of the few who write thought-provoking articles and at times, away from our usual intellectual thought stream. And that's one of the reasons I like you. Always there to open my mind to something I never thought of.
I agree with the rich vs. poor battle and it is taking place in every country. In fact in some countries (or maybe most), the government shields the rich while the rich fund the government. And guess what becomes of the government. They serve the rich instead of serving the people. And you are right. Name one rich person wasting even a second worrying about caste and creed. Maybe there is none. Caste, racism, and other useless endeavors are reserved for the poor.

Modernity is characterised by individuals trying to crawl under some roof that feeds or pays them. It is not noticeable as long as one resonates with this kind of energy and thinks nothing of being "given work". But at many points in life, the thought comes whether one would actually be able to support oneself at all. And it becomes clear that such is a communal task. How do you grow food, how do you generate enough electricity for heat and the necessities of life? And so on. You realise how much it takes a complete change of life to live somewhat autonomously. Companies that offer a human environment are rare. If they are truly embedded in their social and structural environment and not detached from it, they may be those that give back what they receive. They are now being destroyed precisely because they are human among humans.
Thank you for mentioning me, I am happy about it. I can say the same to you: it is worthwhile to be in exchange with you. You've got the gift to inspire.

it's when you fall out of favor, or lose your health that the cold curb cuts into your skull.
I was shocked when I learned that hope was my worst enemy. Little is more difficult for me to eschew, as it seems to be integral to every endeavor I undertake. I assume it is so for all. Hope is the mother of entitlement, of arrogance, and fear. Only without hope do I live free of those burdens.
But I am not free of those entirely, because hope sneaks into my every effort. Because of this I constrain myself and avoid undertakings that lead to particularly dangerous hopes, lest my hope be crushed and I suffer unnecessarily. When I cut a line, drive a nail, or stand a wall I hope to succeed, and my every effort, even my least breath, is so infused.
When I fail at such tasks, the consequence is little indeed, and I need only acquire a new board to fix the problem. Parenting, however, was dangerous indeed!
Particularly when involving others, hope is a threat to me. It is there that I most seek to have no hope, no expectations, to feel no entitlement to a certain outcome. Many things have almost killed me, but the only thing that ever made me want to die was hope in another, crushed.
Folks that have their hopes crushed when counting on others often make the mistake of thinking they simply hoped in the wrong person, company, or party. They then misplace their hope in another, only to be crushed again. When they cannot again face the crushing of their hope, and they cannot grasp that is their hope that is their enemy, then they abandon truth and refuse to acknowledge their hopes have been crushed.
How pitiful they are that cling to lies to conceal from themselves the truth of their crushed hope!
I only want to believe what is true. Account me as without hope as I can be.

If we define rich as those who make lots more money than the average person, well...
Your average American makes close to $100 a day even working fast food,
the world average is $3 a day.
Of course most of this $100 goes straight to the banks.
Pay for rent? Most of that goes to pay the mortgage with which the latest "owner" outbid the previous owner of the same building. So, with the same building, the bank gets more of your money.
It is not really "rich", it is a group of people who live nearest (and set up) the free money printing machine.
Or, those who steal the most.
It's the biggest Crooks vs people
It's the Oligarchs vs the serfs.
