Sure. I was a Christian in my youth and chose to study the Gospels for a two year period as one of my three selected A Levels at school. And it was this heightened understanding of the origin of the Gospels which ultimately made me question my faith and become less interested in religion. The remaining words of the Bible do however in my opinion still hold weight and are always worth referencing.
I think the more significant fact here is that no ancient text from any culture mentions dinosaurs. Word of mouth is a more powerful mechanism for retaining information over the ages than most people realise.
So if man existed at the same time as as our dino friends (which we are told he did) why then were stories of dinosaurs not passed down from generation to generation? If they were real, there would be some legends still remaining. Yet there are none. Unlike legends like the great flood for example, which is mentioned in every culture, because evidently this was a story worth telling the kids before bed. While dinosaurs (despite being an amazing tale) were not considered worthy to be a bedtime story.
