I have to trim my nails every other week or so, or I start breaking them working with my hands. My nails would definitely not look like that after three months.
Good point about the natural light in the cell. Pitch blackness is not going to enable video recording without night vision cameras. 'Windowless cell' is a blatantly false description.
The soldier kissing the pretend prisoner is a saccharine touch. Not an act I recall experiencing when I was held captive (including 4 months in solitary confinement and suicide watch, in which you are not supplied so much as a piece of paper, far more tortuous than solitary confinement), and frankly, would have considered a terrifying sexual assault. Surprisingly he returns the kiss. Perhaps they know each other?

About nail trimming and CNN - they seem to have a diff narrative now, i.e., he was torturer for the Syrian gov etc., i think they are trying to add creditably to their claimed they freed someone - I remember the other day, there was a video where a five year old child just so happened to be found in the prison - I don't understand, why they just don't report the news, surely they could just find something that would work as propaganda instead of just making it up and doing such a poor job.
