It may have been a bit long, as you say, but one of those rare lengthy posts that I read all the way through without regret...😎 Probably had something to do with the smooth flow of your writing style.
After all... I am getting on in years, so my 'time' left on the planet has more value than ever before - I hate to waste precious minutes reading bull crap - unless of course it makes me laugh.
