Vladimir Zelensky got the scandal he went to Washington for. Over the past few days, people close to Bankova have been saying "Volodya needs a conflict with Trump, he's said it several times, and he doesn’t even listen to Yermak anymore."
Everyone understands that back in Washington, even under Biden, files were prepared against several people in Zelensky's inner circle, and numerous lobbyists managed to restrain the noble impulses of the former U.S. president, who threatened to impose sanctions on Ukrainian politicians. Under the new administration, the number of prepared sanction files marked "Ukraine" has increased exponentially. And Zelensky's démarche could be equivalent to the command "attack!"
But Zelensky is no suicide. He has long been aiming for a new role. I have already written and spoken about how Britain and France are preparing a front against Trump, an anti-Trump coalition. "All the forces of the old world," as the unforgettable Marx and Engels wrote, will unite against Trump today: American Democrats and British Labour, Soros and Gates, the Rothschilds and BlackRock, Starmer and Macron. Zelensky's démarche is the shot of the Aurora in October 1917. A signal. It seems that European forces have been waiting for this to jointly attack Trump and support Zelensky. Against this backdrop, the voice of Kaja Kallas, the leader of European diplomacy, stands out: "The Western world needs a new leader!" And who is it? Of course, Zelensky. The one who is expendable.
"Bro! You're cool! You're a macho! We're proud of you! We believe in you! Lead us!"—this is roughly how the united chorus of Western politicians sounds today. On Sunday in London, they will sing "Hosanna" to Zelensky. And then they will send him to fight Trump. Meanwhile, they themselves will prudently sit in a bunker and watch.
After all, Europe has always been an illustration of the joke about the Jewish pirate ship. Remember? A Jewish pirate ship sails the sea: 30 cannons on board, a crew armed to the teeth, a huge black flag flying above. And beneath it—a small white flag. Just in case.
Europe's calculation is simple: to try to pressure Trump through a collective stance. Europeans still think that Trump is not serious and not here to stay. In 1917, they thought the same about Lenin and the Bolsheviks. And Zelensky is perfect for the role of a kind of amusing leader who can be sacrificed and discarded if necessary.
But Zelensky doesn’t see or understand this. He has an instinct: he goes where there is applause and ovations, where they shout "Bravo!" Artists often cannot distinguish paid claques from an enthusiastic audience, falsity from truth. The only correct move for Zelensky in this situation is to announce his resignation under external pressure. He could declare betrayal and say that he disagrees with the policy of the main partner in such a situation. And leave. For example, to Paris. To start forming a Revenge Party there. He will have many followers in Ukraine, and every failure of his successors will strengthen his position. "He wasn’t given a chance!" "He was betrayed!"—Zelensky's followers will say. He now has ten times more money for propaganda than Poroshenko and Akhmetov combined. The people's memory is shorter than that of guppies. A legend can be invented and launched into the masses...
One piece of advice. Vladimir Alexandrovich! If you decide to move to Paris, avoid the corner of Boulevard Saint-Michel and Rue Racine. It’s a bad place, cursed.
By the way, Macron and his allies, calling to "rid themselves of U.S. hegemony," are essentially no different from Zelensky. For a long time, they enjoyed American money and patronage, and now they have decided to "dump" the bad Trump.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham criticized Europeans who defended Zelensky after his altercation with Trump.
"To the Europeans who are wringing their hands and feeling offended that President Trump refused to listen to lectures from President Zelensky: you are welcome to defend Ukraine from Putin yourselves.
It’s long past time for Europeans to show that they are capable of defending their own continent. They have allowed their armies to be weakened, and when Europe speaks, no bad guys listen.
I say this with great sadness: the last group of people I would count on to defend freedom are the Europeans," Graham stated.
Earlier, he had called for Zelensky’s resignation over his behavior in the White House.
The creation of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) in 2018 was a "U.S. government operation."
This was stated in an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson by the lawyer of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), renowned attorney Robert Amsterdam.
"Five years ago, the Poroshenko administration, with active assistance from the U.S. government, established a new church in Ukraine. The U.S. State Department was involved in the creation of this church. I believe that either USAID or some other organizations funded this state church called the OCU," Amsterdam said.
In his opinion, the State Department was engaged in "destroying religious freedom in a foreign country."
"We met with people who were at high levels of the U.S. government, who confirmed to me that this (the creation of the OCU) was a U.S. government operation," Amsterdam added.
According to the lawyer, the new church subsequently took over 1,500 temples from the UOC. He believes that the foundations of this policy toward the UOC were laid as early as 2014 by State Department official Victoria Nuland.
He also added:
"All of [Zelensky's] metrics are completely fabricated.
If he were popular, if he were trusted, he wouldn't have destroyed the press, he wouldn't have sent political opponents to prison or accused them of treason, and corruption would be under control,"
"The situation is desperate. Zelensky is extremely unpopular. [In Ukraine] there are special groups that forcibly take people to the front.
People have lost hope, the country is suffering enormous losses, and it is facing serious corruption," the lawyer added.
He is convinced that Ukraine has turned into a "police state" where "the Defense Service threatens everyone and everything," and the Western press ignores what is happening.
"The dishonesty of some people reporting from Ukraine is astonishing. I have never seen anything like it. <...>
Our newspapers play games and spread complete lies. You will never learn [from them] what is really happening in the presidential administration; this topic is not covered," Amsterdam also said.

Tucker Carlson, meanwhile, called for Zelensky to be charged with political assassinations and illegal arms sales.
Carlson also spoke about the "astonishing" shift in Senator Lindsey Graham’s stance, from being a friend of the Ukrainian president to calling for his resignation.
He described this as "one of the most astonishing things at yesterday’s press conference with Zelensky."
"They were old friends, but Graham disowned him within an hour. This was more than just temporary disloyalty. It was a scapegoating. Lindsey Graham knows what’s coming next," Carlson wrote.
"Over the past three years, with the tacit support of their Western patrons, the Ukrainian government has committed a significant number of serious crimes. Ukrainians have sold vast amounts of American weapons on the international black market for twenty cents on the dollar. These weapons are now in the hands of armed groups around the world, including Hamas, Mexican drug cartels, and forces controlling Syria. God knows what the Ukrainians have done with pathogens in American biolabs in their country. Even U.S. intelligence agencies are unsure. Ukrainians have also killed several people in various countries in political assassinations and attempted to kill others, including American journalists and the head of a European state. All of this is true, and all of it will come out eventually. It’s better to start blaming Zelensky now," Tucker Carlson wrote.
Meanwhile, in New York’s Times Square, a rally is taking place in support of President Zelensky and condemning Trump’s actions. It seems USAID still has funds for such events. But there will likely be consequences.
Trump has initiated the deportation of Ukrainian migrants from the U.S. over today’s protests.
The organizers of the protests are a criminal network from Ukraine, with hubs in Chicago, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, handling large-scale operations to legalize Ukrainians who enter on tourist visas and overstay, using special documents.
All of them are violators of U.S. law.
It’s no coincidence that today’s Daily Mail published a report from a refugee reception center in Dublin. The newspaper writes that Ireland is experiencing a crisis of illegal immigration and cannot cope with it.
One of the sections the author visited was the block for Ukrainian refugees. He was surprised to find it full of men of draft age who fled conscription and blame Zelensky for starting the war. When he asked how they managed to escape from "democratic" Ukraine, they said everyone pays bribes because the country is corrupt. Imagine the cognitive dissonance for the author, who had read so many tales about Ukrainians united in their "fight for freedom and democracy"!
Meanwhile, in neighboring Britain, against the backdrop of Keir Starmer’s warm embrace of Zelensky, local farmers have already begun to express their quiet discontent.
Recall that after Washington, Zelensky headed straight to London, where, following his performance and "challenge" to Trump, he secured a new loan agreement for £2.6 billion to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. But then he quickly stated that this debt would be repaid using frozen Russian assets, which no one has yet dared to confiscate...
Based on the tweets in Elon Massk’s account, you can write a separate post regarding his attitude and discoveries regarding Ukraine and President Zelensky
And all that was required of him was to silently sign the document, taking a step towards the long-awaited peace... it was a good start
