Warning: Cuba is under the control of a totalitarian state with the only objective of keeping the power at any cost. This report will show you the actual situation in Cuba, that one that the state propaganda tries to deny.

The value of 1 dollar is 345 Cuban pesos (CUP). Now the Cuba minimum pension is around 4.4 USD, the minimum wage is 6.08 USD, and the average salary is 11.80 dollars; all amounts are on a monthly basis.

**

The national electric network continue in crisis. With only 12 hours per day of electricity in all the country (except Havana city, the capital of Cuba) the impact in the economic system and the Gross Domestic Product is catastrophic.

The Cuban Government after years of refusing invest in new thermoelectric power plants (even when they have some aproved credits) make a bet with 92 big solar panels parks.
With 21.8 MW capacity each one (a total of 2000 MW) they hope that help to reduce the blackouts time. Until now only 2 of these are already finished and the schedule to finish all is until 2028 .

While this is an important step, it is not the definitive solution. If they are not invested in new thermoelectric plants or in other forms of complementary generation the blackouts will continue indefinitely.

Social

Lack of medicines, high cost of food, and political repression are the constant in Cuba. When this fact changes I will report it.

There is no bread in Santiago de Cuba. Since February 27th the state bakeries don't produce or sell bread to the population. Accordly to the government newspaper Sierra Maestra there is not wheat flour and is unknow when they can restart the bread solution. At present day the wheat for wheat flour production is totally imported even when is proved that can be produced in the country at lower costs.

We all suffer it, but still are people that try to deny it.

Thoughts are with you. hope cubans can find their way to freedom.

I hope that too, lets see what happen because at least in the past 2 years 1.5 millions of cubans (around 15% of the population) emigrate searching better life.
