Christian church has been a part of both positive and negative events throughout history. Its actions and teachings have had a varied impact on different societies and individuals. The church has definitely been involved in conflicts and wars, like the Crusades and colonization, and has been criticized for its treatment of certain groups.
It's also been accused of promoting harmful beliefs and practices, like the persecution of witches and the suppression of scientific knowledge. But at the same time, the
Christian church has done a lot of good in the world, providing education, healthcare, and other forms of aid to those in need and promoting values like love, compassion, and forgiveness. It's also worked towards social justice and defended the rights and dignity of marginalized and oppressed groups.
Obviously it's run by people that are prone to sin, but what do you think? Does good done by church outweight the harm it has done or not?
