Gratitude Week Continues! Welcome back to my gratitude journey. Last week, I shared the first part of my heartwarming list, and today, I'm delighted to continue with day two's highlights – the moments that made my heart smile. If you haven't read the first part of this blog, be sure to check it out.
WORDS OF AFFIRMATION
I'm the type of person who wants to be loved in a clear and not confusing way. I want someone to tell me exactly what they feel and express themselves freely as I listen without judgement. One of my most treasured love languages is the captivating rhythm of words of affirmation. I find joy in the soothing reminders that life is not a competition, but rather a beautiful journey to be embraced. I hold dear those who pause to assure me that all will be well, that in due time, I shall find the peace that I'm longing for. I love hearing words of affirmation as much as I love saying it to the people I care about.
Days before this, I've been struggling to cope emotionally and mentally. Financial struggles led me to consider quitting school, and preliminary week just pushed me to my limits. I even had to plead to be allowed to take the exam. Amidst the surrounding crowd, I couldn't help but sob openly, feeling the river of tears stream down my cheeks. I highlighted words of affirmation as part of my gratitude list because of the heart warming support and comfort from my classmates. They noticed my current state and took their time to asked me what's up. They told me that it'll be okay, that I should not give up, and if ever I finally have the courage to talk about what's bothering me, they made it clear that they will listen without judgements. Those kind of actions are worth appreciating, and I'm here to say that I'm grateful for the people who lift other up despite having own battles that weight them down. For all the people who gave me words of affirmation, may you all feel the love and you deserve, and for everyone who's reading this, may this be a reminder to express your love and care openly, not just my actions, but also with words.
MY CONYO BABY
What's a gratitude list without appreciating your loved ones, right? In this part of highlight, I want to extend my warmest gratitude to my loving partner, conyo baby. I want to thank my partner for loving me unconditionally. She's the one who made me realize that I'm worth loving. She's the one who helped me realize I don't need to please everyone to be liked. She's the one who's pushing me to set my boundaries higher and she's the one who taught me to how to say no and when to say yes. Our relationship may not be perfect but we're both trying our best and that's something that I should be grateful for. She's loving me in a way I never thought is possible and I want to make sure that her efforts, love, and care for me is appreciated. I love her so much and I'll make sure that she knows it. She loves me with a beauty and kindness I never knew existed. With every breath, I'll express my gratitude and adore her, now and forever.
I DESERVE IT TOO
Last but not least, I want to thank myself for everything. We often appreciate other people, but forget ourselves. May this be a reminder that we also deserve appreciation. My life hasn't been a rollercoaster ride; it's been more than that. I've navigated the darkest tunnels I've ever known, drowned in the deepest oceans, and barely managed to find the shore. Yet, I'm still here. Therefore, I thank myself for surviving, for hoping, and for trying my best to get better.
That's all for now,my amazing Hivers! Don't forget to write down three things that you're grateful for.

What a heartfelt gratitude list. 🥰 I can see how grateful you are with the support you've received from those people and of course, from yourself. 🫶🏻
yes, I really am super grateful for them and sometimes we just really need to take a few steps back, unwind, and appreciate all the good that we received. reminding ourselves that there is something to be grateful for is not an easy action, but it's a necessary step to a healthier mental health
