Every life decision is difficult and involves compromises. But I think I made the most compromises when I lived in the capital. I can't say I've ever had any comforts there, as I've always lived in a rental (for me, the biggest comfort is living in your own home you don't have to move out of all the time). Then the chaos and that constant waste of time that is typical of the big city, the polluted air, the noise, etc. I was quite young when I decided I didn't want to live like this anymore. So I think the quiet life is devoid of compromises more than the hectic life in the big city.
Well, what you're showing is a bit extreme. Living in a small village is one thing, but living completely in nature is quite another. I've done that too, btw. 😃 But it's a little scary.

You pointed it out very well, living completely in nature is not the same as just in a small village. There are no neighbors, grocery or anything close so yes, a bit scary to live in complete wilderness. But also, it brings some other freedoms :D
City and pollution. I know, also traffic jams are a negative thing, but the cultural and social offer was a feature I really liked while I lived in a bigger city. Everything has pros and cons, the trick is to find what works the best for us 😇
