Artemis Shares: Thinking About All The OTHER Animals On #Caturday

in ecoTrain4 years ago

Caturday. I'm sitting here over coffee enjoying my well-nourished (ok thoroughly spoiled!) feline friends lazing & playing in the sunshine. Life is good.

From where I sit I can hear birds, and the occassional sound of a Tookay (lizard-gekko) in the distance - they love it when it's hot. And my thoughts drift to all the other animals, and why all the other critters get pretty short shrift.... Hmmm... pondering...

Sharing with you today 3 undervalued non-cat #animals posts from Hive - critters who have delighted, intrigued, engaged and worried us.

Each of the authors featured today is a post beneficiary, so please be generous.

Enjoy. Upvote. Comment. Reblog. Tip.

There are currently about 30,000 known species of fish, of which a few hundred have actually been described. The question is whether we still have time to find out what kind of animals they are, what they do, or how they live. Because we drill in the seabed for fire and raw materials. Do NOT attempt to relocate street puppies yourself

AS3.jpg

Although I know that people mean well, relocating group of puppies to a temple is a terrible idea. The dogs that live at the temples already have probably become territorial and they may become aggressive towards the puppies who are probably already very confused and afraid as it is. Also, mom may return to the "nest" and then go on a long search to find her babies only to end up getting hit by a car in the process. Read more...

@artemisshares is a simple, private curation project run by @artemislives. The goal? To increase exposure and rewards for great content that doesn't always get the recognition it deserves. Today it might be 3 healthful posts, tomorrow it might be 3 posts about freedom, red cars, crypto or dogs. As the mood takes me.

Each post featured here is a post beneficiary and the remainder used to build a juicier upvote. Because I believe in encouragement and at the end of a curating session, there are ALWAYS a few posts I'd like to do more for.
