Hi Hiveans,

Hello and welcome to my page. I am @blesy. This is my entry to the question of the week challenge. Kindly follow me as i share my view on the topic which ges as follows; "What prevents action?".

Action is life which gives an evidence of hope that things can be better than they are. One without an action is like a dead book. Action is known to speak louder than words. So, in every stage of our life we need action. I'll like to use the current situation in Nigeria as an analogy.

The country is said to be rich in both human and material resources and said to be the giant of Africa. There's one thing that has been an issue of concern which is the issue of fulani herd's men killing innocent Nigerian farmers on their farm land. These Fulanis are said to have emerged from the Niger republic (a country which shares a northern boundry with Nigeria). Due to the closeness in boundary between the two countries, many Niger citizens (The Fulanis) migrated to Nigeria with the hope of claiming the Nigeria territory since they're privilege to have their brother, President Buhari on the seat of power in Nigeria (a foreign country to Niger repubic).

Now the illegal Fulani herd's men are misusing the privilege given to them by their brother (the president) to terrorize the citizens of Nigeria as they go about causing havoc on federal highways and also rearing their cattles anf making them trample on people's farm. It's quite disheartening to see many farmers lost their farm land and produce to the hands of these fulani herd's men while the Nigeria president failed to carryout his responsibilities by addresssing the issues on ground holding to the fact that He is also a fulani immigrant (I do wonder how he became the president of Nigeria in the midst of able legal citizens) What i see here is an height of favoratism, conspiracy, inordinate and indiscipline.

Today, many farm lands have been rendered desolate due to the infringement of these fulani herd's men and terrorist. No body can ask them to leave the country because their brother is on the sit of presidency. The president can not ask the these his people to leave the country and from the look of things there must have been an hodden agreement between the president. Many rumour have been roaming here and there regarding this issue and it has always being an issue of concern since lives, properties and the ecosystem is no longer safe for inhabitants.

From this we can discover that sentiments is capable of preventing an action because if the president was to be an indigenous citizen situations should have been better than the way it is now. So we need to do away with sentiments, favoritism, conspiracy, inordinate ambition and indiscipline. Stand for the truth and take action with out the fear of criticism.

Rule with fairness and justice. Take action and never relent in doing good. Never prevent that action, take a step.

Hope I've been able to share my thought on what prevents action. This is my entry to #QOTW Challenge an initiative brought forward by @ecotrain.
