JOIN US FOR THE QUESTION OF THE WEEK 10.6 - What should we be eating to be healthy and vibrant?

Welcome to this next QOTW for Season 10, based on sustainable and holistic living! This week we focus on food and our diet and ask you what you think we should be eating in order to be a healthy and vibrant human! As easy as this question should be to answer, in today’s world we are surrounded by different facts and opinions about what is healthy and how we should eat in order to get the most nutrition and least toxins as we can. This is not an easy task, and many people still debate whether eating a vegetarian diet can provide all the protein and other nutrients that we need to be strong. Its not only what kind of food we eat but also where it came from, how it was produced, and what additives were put in or on the food during its production. The organic food market is growing fast and today it is easy to find organic produce in many supermarkets worldwide.

So this week we ask you what you think about all aspects of what you think we should be eating, whether it is locally grown and even home grown vegetables, or ethically sourced produce, or how much meat if any you think we really need in our diets. We are all familiar with the term 'balanced diet' but what does that actually mean? If you eat a plant based diet perhaps that means something different to those eating a meat based diet. Whatever kind of diet you eat, please share what you think we should be eating to be healthy and vibrant.

Also please feel free to expand on this question to include any more information or ideas around this topic. Perhaps you have been around long enough to see our diets change. What have you noticed has changed over the past few decades around what people or you eat. How has the modern world changed in relation to our food, and do you think people are cooking more or less than they used to? Whatever you have to share, we want to hear about it!
