I really enjoyed reading your post and the desired answer you which to hear from God
God wants us to have more of a committed and consistent relationship with him
With the point you made I believe God want a closer relationship with him which will definitely connect and dedicate our time with him which in that aspect it will lead us to a meaningful life while here on earth. There's a reason why he created us and also there's a reason why all the negative things happening in the world is occuring but from our own path God want us to play a meaningful and good part while here on earth to be nice and good to others which I believe he will never turn his own people down when the time comes.
