Miracle is an event that appears to be impossible to explain according to the law of nature, Something supernatural. It is an exceptional or unusual happening.
Many religion today, especially Christianity base their beliefs on miracle. Starting from the old testament, in the time of Moses, where God called him in the form of a burning Bush and used him to perform many wonders in Egypt to the partitioning of the red Sea.
The Bible also recorded the fall of Jericho wall, which happened by mere singing and moving round for seven times. The Bible also recorded in the old testament where Joshua commanded the sun to stand still and the sun stood still, this was actually against the law of nature.
In the new testament, The birth of Jesus Christ himself and the circumstances that surrounded his birth, the case of Lazarus who died and came back to life after three days were something very unusual and defy natural laws. Jesus also died and resurrected after three days.
Examples of miracles in the Bible include: The healing of the the woman with the issue of blood, the healing of the crippled man at the pool of Bethsider, the healing of the crippled man by Peter and Paul at the Beautiful gate to mention but a few.
In our contemporary society, instances of miracles still abound. Many religious leaders today perform one miracle of the other, which are actually inexplicable and looks impossible. For instance, I've witnessed a situation where a man of God prays and a sick person got healed instantly.
On the 18th of December 2021, I witnessed something I had never seen in my life. Initially I use to have this belief that miracle does not happen, until that fateful day I witnessed a man of God pray and transfer anointing to a young man, and the young man in turn was performing miracle by himself. There are also instances where vehicles are crushed but passengers came out alive without injuries. I've also witnessed a case where a woman was diagnosed to have had damaged womb and therefore, would not be able to give birth, but after being prayed for by a man of God, she took in and gave birth. How about cases of people who were sitting on wheel chair during religious gathering stood up and carried their wheelchair ?
All these are exceptional and supernatural. Naturally, they seems to be impossible. But actually happens. Some people do not believe in miracles until it happens to them, I use to doubt so many things about miracle, but not until I witnessed it myself. The question is. Does it mean it is only religious leaders that perform miracle ? No, miracle can still happen without any prayer. Sometime God surprises us when we are almost giving up on life's situations. There are people who escaped death in various instances like car accident and so on, no prayer was offered but they actually didn't die.
My uncle was seriously sick and was admitted in the hospital for a period of time. Despite every effort by the medical personnels to help him recover, it was to no avail. About Seven bags of blood were administered by the doctor to him, and the test result was still showing that he had shortage of blood. At a point the doctor asked that he should be transferred to another hospital after we had exhausted all the money we had. The doctor even told us that if we do not act very fast, that he might die in three days time. We decided to take him back to home since we didn't have money anymore for hospital bill. At a point he lost hope and asked the wife to take care of the children for him, I tried to encourage him that night and I personally spent time throughout the night to pray for him. My uncle recovered in three days time without been taken or transferred to another hospital as directed by the director. Miracle is not only performed by religious leaders, everything starts from the mind. Once u set your mind on a particular thing and believe in the possibility of that thing happening, it will surely happen.
Miracle is all about something happening in an unusual way, events or happenings that defy the law of nature, things that are inexplicable and difficult to explain. Most people don't believe in miracles no matter how u explain, until they actually feels it, just like the case of Thomas in the Bible who actually doubted the resurrection of Jesus Christ until he saw him face to face before he could believe. I have witnessed it myself and I can boldly say that miracle exist. Stories about miracle looks or sounds fictional but they are actually real.
