In very few days we will be celebrating Christmas and I can feel the excitement everywhere , various Christmas decorations are present at various locations all over the world, Large crowd doing Christmas shopping at various shopping malls , various shops offering Christmas discounts , various brands offering various promotional bonuses as a way to celebrate the Christmas, various people booking flight tickets to travel to their favourite destinations for Christmas....so many activities are going on which shows that Christmas is here already...kids are excited, adults are excited, everyone are excited that Christmas is here again..
All these celebrations and excitement are very nice thing to experience, as long as it makes people happy then I totally support it and endorse it...
But while we are making plans to do all these things we should remember that Christmas is not just about what we will eat , the cloth we will wear , the places we want to visit, the shopping we want to do, the events we want to go to and so much more...
The true essence of Christmas is the celebration of Jesus Christ and what he preaches...
The major goal of the Christmas is to celebrate the spirit of giving , the spirit of love, the spirit of compassion and forgiveness..
Your major focus this Christmas is how you can put smile on the faces of others, you should be willing to give to others most especially the less privilege ones, you should be able to show genuine love to others , you should be compassionate towards others and you need to embrace the spirit of forgiveness and be willing to forgive those that have offended you..
While you are doing that shopping, remember that there are some people who do not even have the money to feed themselves , there are some people who do not have any idea of how they will be able to survive on that day , we should remember such people and reach out to them..
We can celebrate the Christmas the way we want and still be able to achieve the essence of Christmas..
We can enjoy our Christmas with our loved ones and still be able to give to others who lack , we can still show love to others too and still show them care , this will not stop our Christmas celebration and it will even make the Christmas celebration to be more interesting because while you are having fun you were also able to make someone very happy and you helped save a life indirectly or directly..
The spirit of Christmas should make love spread around because that is the reasons for the celebration of the birth of Jesus christ , he always preach love with his words and actions and that is why we need to practice that same habits too, we should learn to preach love with our actions and our words too..
