Hello hive communities. How are you doing today? After 20 years of not seeing my biological father. Now, my siblings are with me in Bicol, Philippines. It is hard to accept he is gone and he abandoned us forever. Till will meet again.
There is a lot of questions I want to ask my father. But now, everything will be questions with no answer.
Why he didn't do well to support his children? Why is it easy for him to abandon his 7 children? Why he didn't help my mother to make a living?
Indeed, we can't predict the Lord's plan and what's ahead of us. We can only trust his will and his purpose.
When my mother died. My mother's relatives made a decision and we don't have the power to make a decision for all my siblings because we were minors at the time. It was hard to see my siblings are moving far from us and living with my relatives. Why life is cruel to us? I was angry with my father. I don't hide these feelings. The years go by I slowly forgive him without knowing it. My wound is healing. Still, I don't want to meet him again.
The Lord plans were perfect. He puts everything according to his plan. After I finished, I studied. I took our siblings from my relative's care. My elder sis and I carried the heavy responsibilities till now. Nothing is impossible with God. His provision is sufficiently and abundant.
Apparently my father and our niece found us thru Facebook. I was afraid to come and see my father's funeral. We never met any of these people they are totally strangers to us.
I met my grandparents, my father's brother and relatives. Everyone is nice to us. They are excited to see us and welcomed us with gratitude. Everyone is kind and generous to us. They prepared everything for us to feel comfortable.
Forgive a person who ask is.

It´s hard to forgive such father though for what he did by abandoning you all and even when your mother died, but you still find it in your heart to forgive him for all he has done. You have such a big heart and that is what God has taught us to do. He is always there when we have forgiving spirit and make peace with everyone that has hurt us.
